If this is indeed true, then that's fucking pathetic. I hate it when teams bitch about the lack of calls - just get on with the game.
The league looks back at the refs calls anyway. If they really did miss a ton of them, that's up to them to decide.

Both Around the Horn and Pardon the Interruption talked about it. I was suprised about the whole thing. But there's no doubt the refs game in and game out miss calls. And it's not like they're trying to single out one team. They equally fuck over all teams with how often they miss stuff.
Remember the Celtics/Raptors series? The game where Nurse was outta the coaching box. Standing on the out of bounds line. And was all the down on the baseline. How blind does a ref crew have to be to miss something like that?

I don't like it either, but Phil was a master at it and to be fair, the Nuggets kind of did the same thing after game 1.
I'd still rather they not do it, but I understand why they do.

The Nuggets did the same thing after game one? You mean the game where no Lakers were in first half foul trouble but Jokic/Murray/Milsap had three? Just imagine what would have been said if LeBron had three first half fouls, AD had three and pick any important role player that plays alotta minutes and give him three fouls before the end of the first half.
The funny thing is now that the organization has publicly spoken up I wouldn't be surprised if multiple Nuggets get in first half foul trouble. And LeBron will take alotta FT's tonight.
