I have results for the last 41 seasons based on my point system. Over that period, power teams have a 153-11 advantage in top four finishes nationally compared to non power teams. That is the benefit of being better teams playing better schedules under my idea. However, it seems for some that anything less than 164-0 Is unfair to power teams.
Dude ate way too many paint chip and paste sandwiches. There is no point in "discussing" with this reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Oh please dear lord...please share with us your point system...better yet share your 11 top 4 teams...I need a chuckle today. Does your point system include bowl games...because I would love to see the system that puts say a G5 team in the top 4 before a bowl game.
Stinger coming from that guy who has nothing but strawman arguments.
LOL, I just can't, you've literally thrown up a system that you've yet to explain and bitch about somebody else throwing up a strawman argument...you are precious...bless your heart.
Alabama Has Apparently Played The Easiest Schedule Among Power 6 Teams This Year, Based On Opponent Win Percentage
Alabama Has Apparently Played The Easiest Schedule In The Power 5
Alabama has 2 decent games left – at home against LSU and on the road against Auburn. They also have 2 really easy opponents, Mississippi State and Western Carolina.
The team’s entire season is going to be defined by how it plays in those two games. Because the rest of the schedule leaves a lot to be desired.
AP Top 10 with their Opponents win %
1 LSU .585
2 Bama .391 (Last in P6)
3 Ohio State .581
4 Clemson .476
5 Penn St. .536
6 Florida .583
7 Oregon .536
8 UGA .457
9 Utah .500
10 Oklahoma .463 https://twitter.com/CFBONFOX/status/1190057866503315462 …
No matter how you slice it. UCF has a way tougher SOS than Bama this year. And last year we nearly had an identical SOS when excluding UConn.
But people will ignore the mathematical UCFacts, and latch on to their dogmatic narratives.

The list is not relevant to the point i was making. That said:
1979 BYU
1980 BYU
1983 BYU
1984 BYU
1996 BYU k state #17
2006 Boise State
2008 Utah 2 then alabama
2009 Boise State oregon tcu
2010 TCU
2010 Boise State #3 week 12
2011 Boise State #5 week 10
A few of these teams benefited from playing extra games.

What a lot of them benefited from was not playing any good teams. You couldn't make a valid argument for playoff inclusion for any of those BYU teams outside the 1984 team, they played no ranked teams and couldn't even navigate their own schedule of pooftas without taking a loss. It must be a real magic formula to make some of those into top 4 teams. The 1984 teams was crowned mythical national champions despite playing and beating no one of consequence...doesn't feel very left out
Why does 2008 Utah deserve it, but not 2008 Boise? Same with 2009 TCU over Boise....TCU was the #3.
If anything I would say the rankings of the last 10 years have been as good as it is likely to get for G5 team. 2009 TCU and 2010 TCU were both in the top 4 prior to their bowl 2010 Boise was #3 prior to their late season loss to Nevada and 2011 was #5 prior to losing to TCU in week 10....those would have been hard to overcome if they played in a P5 conference.
It’s funny that the Trash Panda has liked this post, seeing how you just said UCF didn’t make the playoff under your rules. Now that it’s been mathematically proven, I’m sure he’ll quit claiming they were screwed. They finished 5th based on FBS games only but actually have the highest score among G5 teams for all years.

At the risk of offending the LBGTQs, if my aunt had balls, she’d be my uncle. They were also shorted a game though. Beat Georgia Tech and they are in.
