yea. upsets happen when your best player/scorer on the team goes out on the first play of the game......... it matters.
You mean like playing on the road against a top 5 team without the #1 projected player in the NFL draft ;)

Yep Ginn returned the opening kickoff for a TD and the team went crazy hurting Ginn in the process. Maybe the OSU players should act like they have been in the endzone before and wait until after the game is over to celebrate. After the opening TD OSU only scored once more and were outscored 41 to 7 to lose by 27 points - I don't think he would have made a four TD difference.

It’s going to work itself out.
OSU is going to be a beast next year. They are so young. Freshman qb

If OSU keeps Winning they’ll rise. Their resume will be better than bama and the ducks.

Just think OSU should be 2 or 3 in the end. If they win

They lose they’re gone. No question

If OSU beats msu they’ll jump Oregon
Bank on it
just over 2 months ago it was pretty much assumed by the majority of Spartan fans that we would be wallowing in self pity and grief due to another abysmal season... instead 9-1 MSU is going into the Shoe ranked #7 (should be #6) and in contention for a national championship... oh yeah, and one of our RBs might be in New York 11.DEC.

mind bottling

nobody EXPECTS/PREDICTS anything other than Brutus doing an epic stomp this Saturday; but really, can anybody out there blame us for believing that impossible continuing is certainly possible?

If Stanford can beat Oregon and 3 loss A & M can beat Alabama, and Cincy can beat ND at ND, and Oregon can beat OSU at OSU, and Baylor can beat Oklahoma, then MSU can beat OSU.
Of course, it is possible that Wisconsin can beat OSU or MSU or Mich.
The really big question is would the committee puts in Alabama even if they lose to Georgia.

Depends what happens elsewhere and how they lose.
Well, if they get in, with 2 losses, it will be in place of one of these teams with likely one loss: ND, a one loss Big Ten Champ, Cincy, Oregon and Ok State. Of course Cincy would be a undefeated. Except for the Big 10 issue, ND will have the second best "good loss" along with Ohio State if they win out. While Alabama would have a "good loss" and a bad loss to a 3 loss team.
Realistically, no two loss team should get in over any undefeated or 1 loss team, but who knows with this committee.

There's no guarantees that the BigTen champ will have 1 loss, Oregon will have 1 loss, or the BigXII champ will have 1 loss. There's not even a guarantee that Cincy goes undefeated.

So, it's way too early to make declarative statements on how Alabama can get in.

I am just basing on the idea that the favorite in the remaining games wins. Of course, nothing is guaranteed. I said earlier, the Big Ten is terrified of Wisconsin. Whoever wins the East will be coming down from an incredible emotional high. Wisconsin's defense is likely to keep the game close and in close games strange things happen. Even with that said I am assuming Wisconsin wins the East. Right now, Georgia and Wisconsin have no bigger fans than ND. Even Michigan State lost to Purdue.

The Bearcats beat an 8-2 team like a drum. They will move up to #4. If they can beat a ranked Houston team, they solidify their spot. Would like to see a rematch of last years bowl game with Georgia. The Bulldogs needed a late field goal to win.

The FBS isn’t saying to any team they can’t be in the playoffs. But the truth is as a member of conf USA, the Mac, AAC, etc, do you really think playing everyone in one of those conferences and going undefeated constitutes a schedule that represents the best in college football?? It doesn’t. Sorry. It’s the truth. It may hurt some feelings. Get over it. Or try to join a better more respectable conference.
So. 4-4:40 at Alabama is faster than everywhere else? That’s a your logic! STFU

WTF. What are you whining about?? 1 - kiss my ass.............

Try to use complete sentences and include a point in it, retard........

do some fucking research. Go look at OSU's schedule, OU, Bama, and many others, then look at Cincy's.......

and by the way, Cincy is already proving my point, they are moving to a bigger/better conference!!!!

yes. they did beat ND. It's funny, thats' where the boasting stops with Cincy. Barely beat navy. almost lost to Tulsa, had two other close games. They needed to be blowing teams out by 30 points, and they couldn't do it. This past weekend, they did finally.

I have them at 4 in my top 10.

hey, yeah, about that.

Did you have this "#1 projected player in the NFL draft" for the Stanford and Utah game? (I'll be watching the draft next spring to hear his name called).

Asking for a friend....... :suds:
