Pederson: "What I meant was our team has no confidence, the fans are revolting (in multiple senses) and I'm desperate and praying we win"
The G-Men are coming, it's their turn to win the Division.NFC East is turning out to be the NFC Least
1st place in the division with a 3-3 record? What da fuq happened??

I don't get why this is considered backtracking. It sounds to me he is just explaining how Americans speak English to people who apparently don't understand. When you say you're going to win, it means you believe that you are going to win (which hopefully all coaches and players believe) and if you don't win then you were simply wrong. If you say you guarantee a win (which he didn't do) you're usually implying that if you don't win you will offer some kind of payment or remedy to the people who are affected by your incorrect prediction.

exactly. It was kind of like thisI heard the quote ... I agree with you. He never said “guarantee”. He was definitive (we are gonna go to Dallas and win) but he didn’t say “I guarantee it”.
Media sucks
I didn't say he ever guaranteed anything. But you think these two statements say the same thing about his thoughts on his Football team winning this week? One sounds cocky/confident and one sounds like he really doesn't know at all if his team will win and he's just trying to build up confidence where there is little so things don't get worseI don't get why this is considered backtracking. You didn't say he guaranteed anything but some reporter/commentator/bloggers used that word so he was clarifying. Believing you're going to win is different than guaranteeing you're going to win. #2. makes complete sense to me when you consider it was a sports radio talk show. If he was listening to callers before he got on that morning I'm sure he heard all kinds of nutjob fans panicking over the 3-3 start. Who knows, maybe he stopped someone from jumping off a bridge that morning.I didn't say he ever guaranteed anything. 1 "we’re gonna win that football game, and when we do, we’re in first place in the NFC East"
2 "I was showing confidence in my football team Because there comes a point especially here in Philly where you lose a game or two and everybody feels like everything is kind of caving in on the football team"

Is he worse than both times they played last year? Asking for a friendEagles. Dak's not the real deal.
Wait, you are actually going to try and say that it's Cowboy fans playing the injury excuse?Dougie may not be perfect but I will take him over The Clapper any day.
Cue the Cowboys fans' injury excuses....
Like the Jets?Dak likes to accept challenges.
Depends. Will he hit the eagles corners hand hard enough to pop up to cooper again? Is he worse than both times they played last year? Asking for a friend
