Maybe starting off 7-1 or so:noidea: I just think having Hart starting and a new offensive minded coach in AV, the Flyers will hit on all cylinders early.
I hope you are correct, I'm not sure how I feel yet. I need to see a full 60 minutes to see what has come oiof camp.

I'm also sending that AV isn't overly high on the Vets he inherited, may be just me but I guess we'll see.

I think the Av's are going to have one of the most potent offenses in the league this season. Their top two lines are scary good.

I think you're right there. The Avs are so fun.

If AV kicks Giroux's ass into gear for an entire game, I will be an AV fan .....

To be honest, Roo is one of the last ones on that list for me. The guy has put up the numbers for the past two seasons. The rest of this team needs to match some of that out put. We still have no team speed and I think that will be our biggest Achilles heel.

Also why does Coots get a pass, I'm still waiting for him to reach some kind of potential, if this is his plateau then we could def use someone else IMO.

Couts is our 9th highest paid player and is our best player that why he gets a pass.

Seriously though, what makes him our best player? He's had a few awesome games and two decent seasons. IDK I guess I've always just seen him as a 2 or 3c at best. When he is on the ice I never think, alright here we go like I do with other high caliber players. Looking up and down this rooster I'm still shaking my head at some of the spots.

Fearless Forecast for the Flyers' 2019-20 season

Read the first paragraph.

Coots is the stereotypical "don't notice him" guy. He has two 30 goal seasons in a row and is a point per game player on top of that. Not to mention he's one of the elite defensive forwards in hockey.

We can argue over lots of potential problems the Flyers have, but Couturier is not one of those problems. And I don't even like him that much, because you are right that there's very little flash in his game. But he consistently produces on both ends of the ice. Add his contract in to the equation and you'd be hard pressed to find a more valuable player in the entire NHL.
