What is a fair offer for the #1 overall pick in a Rookie only draft?

Don't trade for #1, trade for one of his QBs.

Yeah... That's what I was thinking. Maybe Robbie Anderson for either Brady or Rivers or something.

So, I didn't end up trading for the #1 pick. We are on the last pick of the first round (pick 12) and I don't pick until 2.6 (traded my first). I'm not sure if I mentioned that this is an IDP league and we start 10 of them, I think, for some ungodly reason. I'm thinking about going with LB Devin White with my pick. My IDPs are solid, but I'm not sure there is anybody who can help me out more short term. I do need a DE, so if White goes, I might go with Nick Bosa. Here is the draft so far. I can list my IDPs, if it helps, but my offense is listed on the previous page...

1.1 - RB Josh Jacobs
1.2 - RB Miles Sanders
1.3 - RB David Montgomery
1.4 - WR K'Neal Harry
1.5 - TE TJ Hockenson
1.6 - QB Kyler Murray
1.7 - WR Andy Isabella
1.8 - WR JJ Arcega-Whiteside
1.9 - WR Parris Campbell
1.10 - WR DK Metcalf
1.11 - WR Mecole Hardman

I doubt Noah Fant falls to me. Outside of him and maybe Devin Singletary, I'm not really seeing anyone who will make my roster and stay there by midseason. Should I bother throwing a dart at the board for a WR or just go after the potential stud IDPs? I think I can only roster 3 QBs, so I'm not sure that I want to take a chance on any of these guys over Stafford, Dak and Winston (although, his leash is pretty short.)

Also considering offering my 2nd round pick for a 1st next year. Maybe I can get someone to bite on that and then wait for an IDP in the 3rd...

Justice Hill or Bryce Love over Hines or Gio if you keep the pick

given that your league does IDP the right way, I'd stick with the plan of going IDP at 2.6...unless someone is nutso and takes the '20 #1 for it.

there are two DT's, 3 LB's, and at least 2 DE's I'd take in an IDP like yours over pretty much anything that's left...MAYBE Justice Hill...maybe

Getting nibbles on a first next year.

Then, the guy who picks before me at 2.5 just traded that pick for RB Nick Chubb... Damn.

Yeah... I just sent a text to my buddy that's in the league. I don't even know that I would have the balls to offer my 2nd for Chubb. Hopefully, someone offers me something like that.

if Zeke got traded to the Raiders, and the Cowboys drafted Jacobs, with the return Fredrick's at C, I still wouldn't have dealt Chubb for the 1.1, let alone the 2.5...holy noley

I just hit the guy up and asked what he would give me for 2.6. Told him he could have back to back chumps... I mean picks.

Another guy just offered me Kwon Alexander, Tyrell Williams, OR Desmond King for the pick. That's a pretty big drop off from Chubb.

2.3 - WR Deebo Samuel
2.4 - otc
2.5 - dumbass who traded Nick Chubb for the pick
2.6 - ME!

I think the offer is on the table for a first next year. I think he wants to wait until I am on the clock to weigh his options. I know he liked Samuel a lot and almost took him in the first. Also know he could have interest in Irv Smith. And he is a Redskins fan, so he may go after Haskins, although he took Murray in the first.

Well, looks like I flipped this upcoming pick into a 1st next year. I like it.

Sure that wasn't Bradley Chubb? If this is a money league and Nick Chubb gets traded for a 2nd in a rookie draft i'd be irate .
