I was looking ahead with that pick. I figure Ingram will probably be getting pushed out the door for the rookie, possibly as early as this year, but definitely next. If DJ is even decent, he should get the gig again next year. I'm not thrilled with this turn to be honest. Looking back, I feel like I should have taken Woods, then Monty. But, oh well.

I treat keeper more like redraft than dynasty, always try to win now vs setting my sights on winning next year.

Ravens have an 'out' in Ingram's contract next season, but I think he'll hold down the RB1 spot for them as long as he's healthy this year.

I'm also not a believer in DJ getting it done anymore. Can't fault those that like him after what Hyde did last year in HOU though.

I try my best not to weigh in on Woods since I know damn near no one else has him in that WR10-14 range like I do. Most have him in the WR20-24 range.

I understand and fully agree. I don't even look ahead too much in a dynasty league. My main league is a keeper league that has been around for over 15 years and I often look back a few years at who was kept and there are very few names that are the same.

This league is a free league that I jumped in on because of the keeper aspect and being different than other leagues I am in. I'm making some mistakes, but I would rather do that here than in the leagues that matter.

Assuming Tyreek is gone I'd be looking at Ekeler and Kittle

Top 6
Hill
Ekeler
Kittle
Golladay
Evans
Godwin
I'm in this same league... Guess who got Ekeler and Kittle :wash:

(I had the first overall pick)

im stunned that OBJ lasted until 4.8 and some that went ahead of him. AJ brown.....

Yeah he's still Odell and he had the injury pretty much all year but I can see why people are tentative about him. Another rookie HC, a lot of weapons on that offense, Baker having a bad year last year...a lot of risk but from the other side, everything that could go wrong-went wrong for the Browns last year and Odell still eclipsed 1,000 and got 133 targets

I'm drafting a kicker next. I'll probably take two here on this turn, so I can be sure that I have a good backup on my bye week.

well this just got a lot easier to give my 2 cents!

@Lamarvelous - nice start, I too prefer to go 2 RB early, especially this season, and can't ever fault someone for nabbing Kittle or Kelce, even though I feel more comfortable at the end of the 3rd vs end of 2nd pulling that trigger. You'll need to hit on a couple WRs. McLauren had an amazing rookie year, but it was an outlier based on analytics.

@femurov - what are you doing man?!?!? no, jk, You kinda have the reverse set up, imo. grabbed 2 solid WRs behind Barkley, also a nice strategy, I just feel a lot more comfortable with a more solid RB2 situation. You'll need to hit on an RBBC guy or have some tricks up your sleeve to get another RB slated for a decent workload this deep in the draft

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

I have been biting my tongue but i dont like femurov's picks. Sorry.
I dont see the big attraction to Barkley. I think Zeke is more consistent (has a more balanced coach and wins the rushing title).
But hey, I've been wrong before too.
If he is excited over Barkley and Golladay in his first 2 picks, more power to him. But that breaks my fantasy rule of accumulating players from bad teams.
Then he adds Evans in the 3rd. We've discussed the Brady factor this offseason on this board how it may be difficult for a 40-something QB to support 2 top 10 WR especially since even the great Tom Brady has only done this once in his championship career.
On paper, his team looks solid.
But i am leary.

I was looking and waiting for Ekeler to come back to me on the turn, but really didn't expect Kittle to be there. Very pleasant surprise.

I have faith in my man McLaurin F1. Dude's about to ball the fuck out.

I was also pleasantly surprised to get Dak as the 5th QB off the board. I'm HUGE on him this year and expect him somewhere between QB2-3. That offense is gonna be fucking HUMMIN' boys.
