Sure seemed like Zion was a little less than enthused with the Pelicans getting the #1 pick. I'm sure he was anticipating the Knicks and Durant/Kyrie with all the rumors.

Bringing up that they have AD (who has wanted out to this point) isn't exactly a selling point. Their last #1 doesn't want to be there. Maybe this helps them convince AD to stay. However, do they fit together? IMO what the Pelicans really need is a wing scorer. That in no way means they skip on Zion, but maybe changes what they want in return for AD (if still trading him).

Send him to the Knicks for thier pick and parts and draft Barrett with Zion.

I dont know what the fuck is going on. Apart from Zion I know nothing about this year's draft class.

All I know is #4 is a lot better than #11

After all that's been happening, Lakers fans could use a bit of good news

Basically, in terms of what they showed in college, it's a 5 person deep draft.

Garland didn't even play and Reddish was generally bad when he had every opportunity to show what he could do.

Because college kids only stay a year now, it's really impossible to get a read, and there will be somebody later on the draft who will be a star, it's just impossible to say who.
