I think he might be. I haven't seen Garland play, so I can't compare the two. How many of these guys will be at the combine?
Either way, the Lakers have plenty of time to decide and tonight was a good night to be Lakers fan. I still think the Lakers would have been in the top four teams in the west if it hadn't been for injuries, so this summer is going to be deal or bust for the Lakers. Right now it is looking good

Sure seemed like Zion was a little less than enthused with the Pelicans getting the #1 pick. I'm sure he was anticipating the Knicks and Durant/Kyrie with all the rumors.

Bringing up that they have AD (who has wanted out to this point) isn't exactly a selling point. Their last #1 doesn't want to be there. Maybe this helps them convince AD to stay. However, do they fit together? IMO what the Pelicans really need is a wing scorer. That in no way means they skip on Zion, but maybe changes what they want in return for AD (if still trading him).

How did we get fucked lol

The bulls and Suns got fucked

I like the 5th pick. Sexton was a good pick with the 7. We got a pick based on the odds. We had the highest probability of picking in the 5-6 range with 50% chance.

Don't be mad now, you wanted top 3.

I was a bit more animated. I hate to admit I was throwing birds at the TV whenever they showed the Cavs or lucky rabbit's foot little Nicky. Too much luck for that franchise in the lottery.
I really didn't expect the Cavs to do anything - To be honest, I was more worried about the Celtics getting lucky and winning another trip to the finals before the Lakers. I want the Lakers to win another title and catch their record. I am greedy:lol:

Zion said he didn't want to play for a large market, but he didn't look happy lol. I am not sold on Zion anyways, i have a feeling his game won't translate that well to the NBA

Good news - you won't get him and because you said that the Cavs can't have him.

Going to be hilarious if/when AD gets traded he never get a title and Zion lead the Pelicans to a title in the future.

That dude would feel so stupid

and 16 will keep you warmer than 1...:D

I owuld rather have 1 recent than a bunch from like 20 years ago...The 1 already feels old so your last one a decade ago you probably can't even remember. Plus, weren't like 6 of those won in Minnesota lol

If the Lakers are smart, they can actually trade back in the draft to a team who wants a top 5 pick
Yep.

They need as much cap as they can to build around Win now Lebon.

5 mil could be the difference between adding DeAndre Jordan to LeBron and Kemba.

Vs

Zsa Zsa or Gortat.

Assuming they can't keep AD, then the trade deals get very interesting. Assuming they all make a move, I would say the Celtics still have the best package to offer.
