Heard Aikman on yesterday talking about how the Kingsbury hire just seals it, the nfl has hijacked the college game. He doesn’t have to pay all the money back and baseball is still there for years. He doesn’t have to ride those minor league buses around for a couple years now, it’s a no brainer.

They are on the radio talking about the Cards making a move for him. Not sure it takes a first to get him though.

His measurements at the combine are going to be key. They also said he could be as short as 5 foot 8 on Golic and Wingo just now.

B. QB’s make a hell of a lot more money than Deion did.

The better analogy would be to Bo Jackson except reverse. Try football and if he isn’t good enough go back to baseball where you can get paid in the minors until you’re damn near 40 in AAA.

You’re an idiot. Deion hit .533 in 1992 World Series and stole 5 bases. Only athlete in history to play in a super bowl and World Series. He also hit .304 that year for the Braves in 97 games.

I think some of this is he is a better football player. Guy hit .296 in college this year. He had 189 at bats, 28 walks, and 56 strikeouts. I don’t have exact plate appearance, I will use 217 (189+28), so he struck out 26% of time vs college pitching. That doesn’t give you a lot of faith that he will be an instant impact guy in the MLB. The QB's in this draft class are a joke outside of Haskins- and if you are gonna be under 6 ft and try to get decent money as a 1st round pick, this draft is the one to do it. I wouldn't be stunned to see him go top 10 in a QB draft as barren as this one. Murray is better than some recent guys that have come out.
