We exceeded expectations and I think we’re on the right track.

Of course, I'm a little disappointed. But we're a really young team, and hopefully we'll be better next year.

It went exactly as I expected. In december 2017 on the husker forum I predicted 2-10, but then upped my prediction to 4-8 in @xpuctaqpGT thread.

2019, as my signature says, I have much higher expectations. I expect Nebraska to go bowling in 2019, with a 0.000001% of going 10-2. Favorable schedule but everything hinges on Adrian Martinez staying 99% healthy, there is no plan B for Nebraska at this time if he gets hurt.

Right now, there is not one guaranteed loss on Nebraska's schedule for 2019. In 2018, there were too many.

I predicted 10 wins in the prediction thread and hit that, but the OSU/Florida meltdowns really put a damper on an otherwise good season. The defense had a great season until the end, I think it was a mix of getting outschemed and the defensive line getting worn down and not being able to get any pressure the final two games.

They've got a lot of work to do with the defensive line next season though there will be plenty of talent to work with (Mazi Smith, David Ojabo, Chris Hinton). Losing Bush hurts but there's also a lot of linebacker talent coming in. Losing David Long also sucks, but they still return Metallus and Hill and they've also got Dax Hill who will probably start right away.

Would also like to see the passing game more involved next season as there will be plenty to work with (DPJ/Black/Collins is probably the best WR trio Michigan's had since Manningham/Breaston/Arrington, Evans has been very underutilized in the passing game) but I'm not holding my breath.

The schedule also looks pretty tough. Michigan does have ND/OSU/MSU/Iowa at home, but Army could be a tough game (back-to-back 10+ win seasons and triple option). They also have road trips to Wisconsin, Penn State and Indiana (Indiana's played Michigan tough for the last decade and the last two trips to Bloomington went to OT).

I had GT at 8-4. We finished 7-5 with the usual frustrating losses. What was especially frustrating was that for several of those losses we looked like we didn't even belong on the same field as the other team. I'm cautiously optimistic about the new coach.

Exceeded expectations by far. Did not think this team was good enough for a 10 win season let alone play for the conference title and stomp UGA in the Sugar Bowl; I had predicted 8-5. I predicted 2019 would be a good run for the conference title, simply b/c most of Strong's players would be gone and I thought for sure the majority of Strong's recruits were so damn overrated, but it just turns out that Charilie Strong truly is a shitty coach.

Lessee... Find something... UT beat Auburn at Auburn, and Auburn was a ranked team. The Vols dominated UK, denying them a 10-win regular season. They too were ranked at the time. I drank a lot of Belle Meade bourbon. That's it! That's the bright spot! Fine Tennessee whiskey.

Pretty shitty. Thought we would at least go 6-6 and make a bowl game. Winning at Auburn was cool. Ending the season with a third straight loss to Vandy still has me redneck mad though.
