Anything less than a NC is a dissapointment at Bama these days.

Defense was AWFUL all year. Quinnen Williams was the only great player on it and Mack Wilson was awful. We jumped out to such big leads it didnt matter. Shutting out LSU And Miss. St really gave us a false sense of security. They were just bad on offense. Holding Missouri to 10 points did too but they were without their 2 top recievers and STILL had guys open but Quinnen was just so dominant Locke didnt have time.

Saban made an Awful hire in Tosh Lupoi for DC because he is an amazing recruiter and Saban didnt want to lose him. HE FUCKING SUCKS!! Some rumors UGA is looking into hiring him for DC and I pray they do.

Went from 6-7 to 8-5 and shut out a SEC in a bowl game. If we had beat tech I would be very happy. Good recruits coming in next year and our QB has another year of eligibility. Another 1 or 2 game improvement would be nice and most of of our fans would be good with that.

If I get to the point where 14-1 is a “disappointment”, I don’t deserve to be a fan of my alma mater. Even with the godawful performance Monday (and it WAS that bad; we made CU look like a combination of the 85 Bears and 89
49ers), it was our 4th 14-win season, 27th SEC title, 5th CFP appearance, 4th title game appearance, a 113-13 record this decade, 127-13 over the last 10
years, and 139-15 over the last 11 years.

That’s an average of well over 12 wins a season for each of the given periods. When I can complain about THAT, just shoot me. Or worse, make me a whorn fan.

12-1 with a conference title is what I was expecting to start the year. I also thought that'd be enough to make the playoff. If you told me we'd beat PSU and MSU on the road and destroy a top 5 michigan by 3+ TDs, I'd say we're in great shape for a NC. Then again, I did not see a 29 point loss to Purdue.

That said, things are looking great going into next season.

Went into the season worried about the defense.

Came out of the season vastly underwhelmed by the offense.

But still 12-1 with an elementary offense and a bunch of 3 and 4 star players under a new DC gives me a ton of hope. Will be interesting to see how they can build off of a top 5 finish to try to improve for next year

Vindicated after the Bama loss last year.

That plus the drama of swapping QBs, death of a recent former player, a few other smaller things made the season a little rocky - until we started steamrolling everyone.

I predicted 3 or 4 losses and we ended up with 3 (Utah was a win). Got a bowl win over a decent team. Some areas disappointed me and some were better than expected. So I'm OK with it. The good news is that our QB returns and we are recruiting well.

After Baker, I figured we would lose at least 2 games this year.

After texico game, I thought my prognostication was spot on and it would be even worse.

They did it again though. Found a way to win every game after.

We need a NC. Bad.

We have the right coach, and the right players are starting to arrive. If Grinch is 20% more successful as a DC than MS, you fuckers are in for some CRIMSON AND CREAM domination of your candy asses. For years.
