Actually, the Warriors have 1 title without Steve Kerr.
Well I was talking recent success. And if you wanna go back in the day, they actually have 2 NBA titles without Kerr. 55-56 and 75-75.

They also blew a commanding 3-1 lead w/o KD. And while KD needed the Warriors to get that 1st elusive ring if they would have had him for the '16 Finals they wouldn't have let that lead slip right through their fingers.
Busted...all in good fun I assume...lol
No, I think he really hates me lol.
Really? You think so...huh.
He might hate on your online persona, and you've ruffled some feathers around here on occasion, but he doesn't even know you.
Well, by hate me I mean the online persona that he interacts with lol
I'm sure if we shared some brews in a bar or something we'd be fine.
I just want someone to dethrone the Warriors. Sadly I don't see that happening.
My only point was that Steve Kerr owns a lot of the success that this current Warriors team has. Jackson did the grunt work but wasn't able to do anything with the same talent that Kerr has. That's all that I'm saying. Steve Kerr comes around and so do the titles.
Honestly, idk if the Warriors win the 3 they have without KD. They won 1 without him so that makes me think they can win another without him. That's a good question.
And while I somewhat agree with you that Steve Kerr does deserve some credit for the Warriors success, I don't think it is as huge as you make it.Well I was talking recent success. And if you wanna go back in the day, they actually have 2 NBA titles without Kerr. 55-56 and 75-75.
I do as well. I honestly don't care who it is. I'd like it to be somewhere LeBron isn't but I don't see that happening either.

The LeBron led Lakers goal this year should be to get back to the playoffs, maybe win a series depending where they finish in the standings. I don't see them challenging the Warriors this year though.
Why settle for allstar? Melo for MVP!Anyone else think Melo will be an All Star this year?
Exactly. This team will likely be good enough to hang around with the Warriors and maybe even steal a game if they were to meet in the playoffs.
But actually having a shot at beating them? They've got a ways to go for that.
For the most part I agree with this...but I don't think that comment lines up with the thread title.
I'm with you on Kerr vs Jackson, I don't think anyone is disputing that. The star players had a little more experience when Kerr took over but he got a LOT more out of them than Jackson did.
Where I push back on this thread is that Kerr was the be all, cure all for the 3 titles they have.
KD...imo, he changed the Warriors from primarily a 3 shooting team, to a squad that can win in a variety of ways. If you take him off the roster they are still a very good team, Klay's scoring would probably increase, but KD was money in the playoffs averaging nearly 30 a gm.
Because the east is so weak, I think they could win a title without KD, but I'm not sure if they could get out of the west especially if KD joins LJ in LA.
Holy shit! You are not going to believe this, buddy...
I was just on the phone with Mrs. Redfoot discussing if we wanted to grill tonight. We're both kind of tired so she said, what it we just order pizza?
Slinky: I'd do pizza for sure. We haven't gotten Rizzi's in a while.
Mrs Redfoot: That sounds great.
Then I check you post and couldn't believe it.
Rizzi's is pretty damn good. There's also a place that opened up at the corner of Market and Sand Run called Pavona's that is really good, but it doesn't travel well so we only eat it there and we're lazy today.
