That sounds about right.

This off-season will go a long way towards determining the Warriors reign of terror.
I just can't believe with teams making moves SPECIFICALLY to compete against them that they have yet to improve that second unit. IMO they need to think about a legit PG to come off the bench because Livingston is having trouble this season. With Iggy's offense in great decline this season they need another 2-way guard who can create his own shot. I think with both or at least one of those moves they'll be in pretty good shape. I am just patiently waiting....

You think it will be Klay?

The way Bell looks, I think they will deal Draymond to get off Iggy's money.

Not sure what is going on with Mccaw.

But, he isn't the Iggy/Livingston replacement I thought he would be.
I doubt it will be Klay. I also doubt they deal Draymond. When he gets healthy Bell still has a ways to go in terms of development. While his energy is great on the defensive end he still makes a lot of mistakes. And, he needs to find an offensive game other than dunks/put backs.

But, they do need to find a way to get rid of Iggy & Livingston IMO. They could even slide McCaw in there. I mean, he's asked to be sent down to the G league, so he knows he hasn't developed like he should've.

Yeah true. At most, maybe they win a game but I see both getting swept.

No doubt about that. The Warriors & Rockets are too high powered for either of those teams.

Reg season games don't matter much. A 7 game playoff series is a hell of a lot different than a few random games during an 82 game schedule.

OKC will probably get out of the first round (a Minny-OKC series could prevent that, main reason being Thibs is a better coach), but they'll lose in the WC semis.....
I agree. I don't think they can/will sustain during a 7 game series. I wouldn't be surprised either if they lose in the 1st round. Mainly because they've been far too inconsistent & then we'll ALWAYS have to factor in RW's iso habits at the wrong time.

One of them has to go if the gap between talent keeps shrinking.

You think the Owner will pay a dollar for dollar punitive tax for a Team that is not a shoe in to win the title?

I don't.

Not when we are talking 75-100 mil in taxes.

That's what the Warriors are looking at if they keep everyone.

Unless you think Dray and Klay will take less?

I'm somewhat surprised they haven't picked up a piece in the buyout market. It's early still but it's got to be concerning when you see Brandon Wright AND Joe Johnson go to Houston. Even Belineli could have helped. But with the Rockets out there, I wouldn't feel too comfortable with just Livingston and Iggy for a playoff bench. McCaw has been ass this year despite looking promising last year. Nick Young is Nick Young, essentially useless 4 out of 5 times you call on him. How has no team called Terrance Jones? Is that kid totally washed already?

Yeah of those 3, I think Bellineli would have been the most beneficial. Joe is still a good scorer, but his game is too iso-heavy I would think for incorporation this late in the year. But we'll see how Houston uses him.

I think the Warriors aren't in a rush because the Warriors at this point are looking at a premium scorer off the bench. Their bigs I feel like they're content with, especially consider the way Looney and West have played with Jordan Bell waiting to return from his injury. Also could see an uptick in Javale minutes too.

The market right now is thin for bench scoring. They'll have to find the right guy. Chemistry is a big issue with this team and they're not going to disrupt it for a panic move.

Joe will pay the tax as long as the team is a top title contender. Again the reason it makes sense is because he'll need to keep streamlining revenue from the privately financed new arena.

The Warriors are still one of the most profitable teams in the league and will continue to be for the forseeable future. Iguodala's deal looks bad now because of his production. Shaun's I would say he's been par for the course, but I think with a slight decline in his defense.

If it came down to Draymond or Klay getting traded, I think 100% it would be Klay. Draymond is too important to what the Warriors do as a team. He's only second on the team in that behind Steph.

I want no parts of the playoffs.

Both teams would take much enjoyment in beating us by 40 every game.

Yeah that wouldn't be very much fun.

I think both those would take less, Klay would be the one to go if one goes bc I think he would want the big bucks for that respect factor. I also think both those guys would be smart to take less and win, they are in the perfect system, it would be stupid to leave.

Well, beating them in the regular Season is far different than the playoffs.

I don't think they need to worry unless someone pushes them to the brink in May or June.

Klay is already putting it out there.

I don't need shots, to be the 1st or 2nd option.

But, ya gotta pay me...lol

It's up to them translates into PAY ME.

“He doesn’t need to be ‘the guy,'” Mychal Thompson told SiriusXM NBA Radio’s “Above the Rim” on Tuesday. “He loves playing there. He loves playing with Steph and KD and the whole crew. He loves living in the Bay Area, it’s a special place, and they’re going to have a beautiful, new arena in a couple of years in San Francisco. So Klay is not looking to leave. That’s up to the Warriors.

Actually, yes I do think the owners will pay the luxury tax if it will give them the chance to compete on that level. Reason is because they know what if feels like to win. But, I understand it would be hard to see the potential of gambling if they hadn't already won once or twice.

Klay already said he would consider taking less money if it meant keeping the team together. I think Dray would also consider it because of they chemistry this team has. But to think they would just trade Dray, I would bet against that & I don't typically bet on things like this.

I was a bit dismayed to learn that Marco Belinelli's career numbers are fairly close to that of one Jerryd Bayless.

Yeah, it's close. Belinelli isn't great by any stretch, but would provide some much needed shooting to the Warriors bench.

If I'm trying to win another championship I'm not waiting until May or June to think about getting better.

Klay's probably one of the most low maintenance players in the history of the NBA. He'll still get paid even if he took a little less. The biggest factor is that he just recently re-upped his Anta shoe deal for another 80M. That's not insignificant when you think about how much he would be happy with.

Wow..really?

I would rather lose Draymond.

Could be my bias because he irks the Shit out of me.

Could be viewed cause he punks the Shit out of the Clippers.

I just think if Bell develops, he would be the odd man out by cause he's the last up for an extension.

They will pay Klay, see if they are still top dog, if not.....

Bye, Bye Asshole...

* I hope *
