Kinda difficult to overrate a 5th round pick, no? Especially a rookie RB? IDK, over 5 yards a carry behind a make-shift online?

Just wanted to know your rationale.

The interior of that OL doesn't really look makeshift in terms of quality. No tears for Howard.

Was used more as a RB so yeah, that's not hard to see.

Regardless, the WR skills are there on tape to be a #1. If he is or isn't is pretty debatable, however.

Fast doesn't mean athletic. C. Patterson is the opposite of quick; he is fast however. Patterson also can't run a route to save his life.

He averaged over 2 yards per route. That's Julio Jones territory. The stuff you're talking about is stuff that gets him (amongst other obvious things that don't need to be rehashed ad infinitum) pushed down to the 5th round; not about what he has done in the NFL... The potential for a 2 Sigma guy being a #1 WR after he scores 12 TD's his rookie year, despite playing about half of offensive snaps doesn't seem THAT controversial to me. Can or will is a different thing. I kind of like his chances. You don't. That's fine.

With that being said

I've been pretty clear in my posting about Hill I do not ignore that he needs work on intermediate routes (which I believe drives down his yards per catch and his snaps as a rookie) but truth be told you don't need an enormous route repertoire to be a #1 in the NFL; being able to eat up intermediate routes is a pretty consistent prerequisite for me though and that does need to be cleaned up in order to be more than just a good WR.

All starters were out for most of the season, Long, Sitton, and and Grasu. Not too sure you know what happened last season .

His overall accomplishments of rookie of the year and MVP of one game. Sorry Charlie but that doesn't make him an elite QB. QB's like Vince Young, RGIII, and Sam Bradford have won the ROY before and QB's win the SB MVP more often than not.

Statistically, he's not even close to an elite QB and if anything it makes him look very average at best.

He doesn't pass the eye test either as an elite QB. I have nothing against him but he's just doesn't check all the boxes off when determining if a QB is elite or not. This isn't to say he's terrible but he's not elite. He is better than Jay Cutler though that's for sure.

You were talking about him like he was elite so I digressed with you buddy.

He became the highest paid player in NFL history which means he was drastically overrated by the Ravens.

He was voted as a top 20 overall player which he clearly is not.

He's a good NFL QB and he's overrated due to his contract mainly. This is why many fans on here outside of Baltimore have him as the #1 overrated QB. He's statistically comparable to Eli Manning. lol
