In fact, I'm reevaluating every player 29 years of age and older on this roster. (yes that includes Norman). To be clear, my perspective is, I would rather move a player a year or two too early than a year or so too late. In order to keep any player on this team his value must meet or exceed his performance. Even then, his age will be a factor in determining whether he's moved or not.
Now in as much as young guys are concerned, the average age coming out of school is 22. This gives them very few years to push for starting jobs, if they are still projects by year 3, we have a problem that must be addressed. Btw; there are no players worth a shit that don't have becoming a starter at the highest level in mind. Now I realize that a lot of their development relies upon having quality coaches, that too must change, even if I would have to initially overpay for top teachers. Winning costs, there's no real loyalty in this game, we love our favorites, and must be willing to part with them for the sake of paying that cost to win.
