Jones is a definite juicer dude.

No question. He shouldn't have stopped. Why he did is the only thing that's puzzling.

No way. I watched him as a 17 year old, he was the same size then as he was as an all star.

I have to agree. Big jump in power, and he went from looking like this:

Looked the same? He was a good bit thicker in 2005 than he was as a beanpole rookie.

I saw him live at 17 and live at 28, he did not blow up unnatural looking at all.
He is a big guy, always was.
Of course a dedicated athlete will mature physically, but he always had power and bulk.
It's not like 170lb Sammy Sosa blowing up to be a hulk.

And I've always wondered how Javy Lopez escaped all the steroid talk.

Dude was a 15-20 home run guy his entire career, then all of a sudden jumped to 43, and then fell off again.

Well, homerism is known to cause blindness.

BS, The guy had a very natural progression. At 17 I was 140lb, but wiry. By 28 I was 170lb and using 55lb dumb bells to do curls.

Come on, I lived in Greenville SC when Their Braves minor league team set a minor league record for wins. Javy was a fucking stud legend at 19.

Homer stamps his feet over Bonds hitting 40 homers at 28. But can't recognize where Jones 50 homer season came from.

He was a solid, not great hitter in the Majors his entire career, and then all of a sudden at age 33, he blows up for 43 homers(an increase of 32 homers from the previous season), and then falls back down again. That wasn't natural.

The guy was a 19 year old kid when he broke into the bigs, and he was very solid even then. He was a big solid kid when I first saw him live in Rome Ga. when he was 17.

And FTR, I love Andruw and Javy, but they weren't clean.

Come on, you're either trolling or you didn't follow Andruw's career. It was always just a matter of early pitch recognition in his progression. Rumor was he just got lazy and soft when he got his big FA contract.
He might have missed Bobby Cox too. Early in his rookie season AJ lazily fielded a ball that dropped in front of him. For the only time I know of with any player Bobby called time out and pulled Andruw from the field and laid into him. Andruw never dogged it again while with The Braves.

You think his career went to shit because he was lazy?

But is deserving of the HOF?

Like Mauer, he juiced for a short while. It's that simple.
