I will be honest, I thought the earlier one would be my choice, but I love the new tick. Have not gone to watch season 2 yet though. Lets go latest one.

The cartoon was actually my favorite though.

it wasn't season 2 It was the second half of season one... But show is really good... Might like it more than the original... even if I love Puddy...

I don't remember the cartoon...

It came out in 94, one of the few cartoons that maintained continuity. In an early episode Chairhead tries to write his name on the moon with a laser, The Tick stops him but in every episode after if you see the moon it has "CHA" engraved on it.

never saw the show... But love his standup... never really gave original programming from TV land a chance... Never saw Hot in Cincinatti either...
Honestly, the Gaffigan Show is just ok. But I love his sense of humor.
My wife watched hot in Cleveland. It was pretty good actually. Valerie bertinelli still looks good.

My wife follows him on one of those social media sites and the things he posts are funnier than his sitcom.

which explains why I never saw it... 1994 was my I AM TO OLD FOR CARTOON age... not sure if any of you had this age, but when I saw Lion King on VHS, that was when I realized that I was an idiot for not liking cartoons anymore... I remember the first time seeing it my sister had to convince me to watch it, I was so against seeing it, might have even acted out...

and now at 32 I still love cartoons(not just the southparks/simpsons/archer/ Bojack Horseman type)

Aladdin > Lion King

As you guys know I'm closer to 60 than I'd like to be.
I like mindless, clean, funny humor.
Don't like complicated plots.
Just give me movies with memorabe characters and a good story.
Doesn't matter if it's animated, CGI, or real actors.

Hold on now....

Shouldn't we all have the same roster size?

I am all for FA signings, but they should come with a drop.

I'm dropping Dietrich from Barney Miller, much as I love him, and picking up Det. Nick Yemana. 6 of one...

Aladdin > Lion King

The classic Disney animated movies were LEGIT - agree Aladdin better than Lion King, but I'm pretty sure they made more $$ on Simba, so the Disney folks might disagree with us.

still watch them with my nieces and nephews, and will definitely watch with my kids as well.

Robin Hood is my #1 pick
Emperor's New Groove would be my sleeper pick
(vastly underrated kids movie, David Spade, John Goodman, and Putty....they crush it)

I am ok to drop, but it depends on one question. Is the Tick human? It is never clearly defined, nobody knows his past not even him. In an episode it was theorized that he was from space.

Long story short, if he is human I won't add the tick. I need someone else who is a fan of the show to weigh in on it.

Unknown origin i would put in the human category. BUT this is for fun, a little mebert favoured rule wouldn't hurt anyone. It's not like we care about precedent.

I think Dietrich shaped my personality as a kid. Now, though, I strive to be more of a Yemena.

And Yemana fits better as Drebin’s sidekick.

Gaffigan was the guy in front of me at the Alamo gift shop once.

He didn't want to chat.
