Inspiration
Back in November 2017, the Buffalo Bills benched Tyrod Taylor and started Nathan Peterman.
That fiasco resulted in this chain of posts:

After Sunday's performance, I think I'd rather have the Seinfeld Peterman.

I started him in D1. I'd rather have Costanza

I'd kill that trade in a heartbeat - Peterman for Costanza?
Costanza is an elite character. Excellent talent.
A more even trade would be Peterman for, say, Uncle Leo.

As a Bills fan, Peterman is Jerry's first father. Only lasted an episode or two. The Morty nobody remembers.

now I think you are selling low on Peterman - Uncle Leo just wasn't funny enough for me to cough up Peterson.
I would think a more fair offer would be Peterman and The Jimmy for Puddy and Dr Whatley

Now this is too funny.
Maybe in the off-eason we should have an online draft for Seinfeld characters.

Purpose
After the Super Bowl, the message board tends to slow down.
And our buddy Ana Sam will be recovering from triple bypass surgery.
He'll need a distraction.
So a slow Sitcom Draft seems like a ridiculous remedy.

Or as was said in the movie Animal House:​

Rules
Didn't think I'd be posting rules since I'm not even sure if we're doing this yet?
Snake draft.
But we can only choose from sitcoms, i.e. Situation Comedies.
So no dramas, cop shows or variety shows.
This means no Spock, no Jim Rockford, and no Carol Burnette.
All other sitcom characters in TV history are acceptable.
I'm hoping for as many owners as possible and then adjust the rounds as we go.
And, yes, I'll try to make a chart.

im going to struggle with some of the picks from older shows but this sounds like it will be alot of fun. Every year during the summer when the struggle for football is real me and a buddy draft a fictional character football team. Its alot of fun and we get some good chuckles out of it.
