Rondon is having a better year. Just doesn't get the chance to pick up many saves. They never are ahead unless they push across a lot runs.I'm guessing they traded him to the Cubs.
Yeah they don't NEED a closer, but you figure there will be more close games for them in the postseason and having a great 8th-9th is better than having a great 9th. It'd also take Chapman away from SF and WSH, two other NL contenders looking to improve their BP.Rondon is having a better year. Just doesn't get the chance to pick up many saves. Great 8th-9th if they do trade for him though.
Will Chapman fit in with the Dodgers?Dodgers?
I don't think so.Will Chapman fit in with the Dodgers?
The guy who traded Josh Donaldson for Brett Lawrie and magic beans? That's still a heck of a price for a 2 month rental. Can't believe Beane isn't capitalizing on this new market inefficiency.
