So, the Cubs practically traded Castro, Torres, McKinney, another hitting prospect, and a pitching prospect for Aroldis Chapman.

Provided they win the Series no one will care. The first rumors were about the Nats getting Chapman so this may have been to also keep the Nats from getting stronger.

As a Yankee fan I love the deal. They're long overdo for moves like this.

Honestly, I like it for the Cubs too. It just seems like a very high price to pay, but better than sending out Kyle Schwarber, though. They need to lock up chapman though.

It could be a move that works for both. Chapman's been very good and he hasn't been over worked due to the 50 game ban. The Yanks and us fans wanted Schwarber in the worst way. The price may seem high but without knowing what the Nats and other teams were offering it's hard to say.

The biggest impact is that the Cubs will have Chapman on their side rather then face him on the Nationals.

I'm glad the Indians didn't trade for him, although he would be a needed lefty in the bullpen, the Cubs gave up two great prospects and another pretty good prospect for basically a rental for not even half the season and postseason. Obviously, this is a move to win it all, as they are already favored to win it, but if they don't win it it could be some key losses prospects wise.
