Not many are.And would you have said Kawhi was on superstar track after one or two years? Bullshit!
But, he won Finals MVP by year 4.
So.....

Can't believe there were some lakers fans who said they wouldn't do that deal lol

So.....
in my case i wasn't real sure what we'd be left with...
sorry, but i'd say that's a legit concern...

Yeah damn those people and having faith in their players.
If only we could be one of those sheep that don't have true opinions but just follow the herd like some people on here....
It's not about having faith. It is called common sense.
He is a proven superstar. Kuzma and Ingram are not and there's no guarantee that they ever become superstars.
Magic would accept the deal mentioned in the OP in less than 30 seconds
Well, I think I agree with @ChiefsLakers67 .
I wouldn't offer it either. Because, Pop wouldn't take it.
....and in all honesty...
Kawhi is a much better player than Paul when healthy...
But, if they wouldn't part with those guys for a healthy Paul, would they do it for a broken Kawhi?
Nevermind.
Not really comparable because Kawhi can agree to a full max before the trade.
George would have lost money going that route.
Wait all you want and continue to watch guys go elsewhere.So....
let's wait till 2021
trust me, iget the superstar part. still gotta have pieces to WITH that superstar or what's it all for...?
now tf12 did mention we'd still have a few pieces in place, but would it be enough...?

There is nothing wrong with building organically.
But, you don't clear all that cap space if that is the plan.
Sign back Randle and you would still have future 1st ballot HOF Lonzo Ball
In a second.
Even without Deng. Dang you guys overvalue your players something fierce.
I'd rather wait to see what the Lakers do in free agency rather than make a panic move and give up two guys who could have an amazing career.
If they manage to get two max guys, they would need Ingram and Kuz more than ever.
FTR, this stupid trade doesn't work on the trade machine
Getting a franchise player is not a panic move.I'd rather wait to see what the Lakers do in free agency rather than make a panic move and give up two guys who could have an amazing career.
