I'd rather have Drew Lock.
and thats why most ppl laugh at youI'd rather have Drew Lock.
I'd rather have Drew Lock.
This is remarkably stupid.I guess Burrow. I was never high on Baker but I thought he had NFL potential. He has way to much talent around him not to have more success. I won't say bust but he's starting to show he may be a back up at best. With Burrow he's and unknown and that is true of any rookie but you have to roll those dice to know.
Based on two completely different seasons with completely different coaching staffs? The guy hasn't even been in the league for 2 full years and he's already working with his 4th head coach.we pretty much know what Baker is at this point.
I'm rolling the dice on Burrow in the hopes that he is better.

Luck was more athletic and had a stronger arm.
But we have never, ever seen a college QB throw the ball like Burrow's did.
His combination of accuracy/touch/timing/location was otherworldly.
Maybe Burrow's just represents the beginning of the next evolution. A time when college QB's have taken so many practice reps and have so many advanced tools at their disposal that their accuracy and timing are simply on a different level than anything we have become accustomed to before hand. And the offenses they run are closer to NFL offenses than what we have seen in the last 10 years.
But I am still in absolute awe of his National Championship game performance. LSU didnt run your typical college offense that relied heavily on screens and short passes. They were running your typical modern day NFL offense. And Burrows was doing everything in that game that you would want to see. Under heavy pressure all night long he was drifting in the pocket, making throws off different platforms, and all those throws were near perfect in terms of placement and accuracy.
Like I said....maybe this is just evolution and I have to get used to seeing it from college players. Because honestly Lawrence, while not as good as Burrow, was also impressive from a pure scouting perspective. But what we saw out of Burrow this season wasnt like anything we have seen before. You dont need to sit there and take out 40% of his throws because he isnt going to run those plays in the NFL.....everything he did and the offense he ran is EXACTLY what you want to see out of an NFL QB in an NFL offense.
Except for the fact is pretty much true. But hey defend your guy and keep your losing tradition I don't care. This is remarkably stupid.
Haven't seen any average QBs break the rookie QB passing TD record in 13 games while dealing with coaching staff turnover midseason. I don't think anyone knows exactly what he is yet, but saying he's average is pretty short-sighted.i didn't say Baker sucked. i just feel like I pretty much know what he is. Average talent. If I were a GM, I'm going to take the gamble that Burrow is better than average.
lol you literally stated an opinion. Someone get this clown a dictionary.Except for the fact is pretty much true. But hey defend your guy and keep your losing tradition I don't care.
We do? Broke rookie records, then regressed with a dysfunctional coaching staff?we pretty much know what Baker is at this point.

Oregon qb is remarkably consistent and Never great. Has the tools. Doesn't use them. Always leaves u wanting more. CameNeither. And someone can have Goff for a bag of Cheetos btw
Lamar later in that draft was gold. We will see how he holds up. I like the QB from Oregon actually in this draft.
Yeah it's an opinion but it's an accurate one. Baker had a lot of weapons and still the offense struggled. So when he has another sub par year this year or next you still going to defend him? What I said I firmly believe when he came out he was overhyped they had a lot of talent at OU that carried him. The Browns as usual instead of doing their homework went for the glitter guy and again are still cellar dwellers.lol you literally stated an opinion. Someone get this clown a dictionary.
Through two seasons (and 3 head coaches/offensive coordinators), Baker's stats are:We do? Broke rookie records, then regressed with a dysfunctional coaching staff?
Are you just taking the average of one of the best rookie seasons ever, and a poor season.? Cut it down the middle?
Always gotta laugh at idiots who look at one season with an insanely incompetent HC/playcaller and determine a QB's entire career (while conveniently leaving out the prior season when that QB set records). Keep going, your opinions are so fact-like!Yeah it's an opinion but it's an accurate one. Baker had a lot of weapons and still the offense struggled. Like I said dude over hyped coming out of college once again Browns management hoodwinked. You have become the model of how not to draft a QB in this league. That's a fact. And if you like him I am cool with that, and if you enjoy being the divisional bottom feeder year in and year out I am cool with that. If you want to blame every one but your QB, I'm cool with that. Just accept you are going to be the divisional bitch and move on. Unless until you draft your next QB of the future.Always gotta laugh at idiots who look at one season with an insanely incompetent HC/playcaller and determine a QB's entire career (while conveniently leaving out the prior season when that QB set records).
