Not as long as the P5s keep throwing enough crumbs to the G5s to prevent such. From what I undersatnd, most P5s don't want a G5 playoff more than G5s don't want it. Rationale was something along the lines that the recruiting for the lower P5 teams would be greatly at risk. I don't understand that, but that is what I've been told.

I think of it the same way for the G5s. Recruiting would be down the toilet and NY6 bowl games pay well when you can get to them. No way..
