I heard you did a dissertation on itI've gone over and over their body of work the past two seasons. Congrats on their homemade trophies and fake parades.

Honestly...the first giant killer was Florida State.
We did it year after year after year, remaining an Independent
and winning on the road. It went on for a good 10 years.
Then it paid off.
AuburnUCF doesn't have a "statement" win.
Miami beat OU
Utah beat Bama
BSU beat OU
BYU beat OU
These games put these programs on the map. UCF hasn't done that.
The Fiesta Bowl upset over Briles' Baylor was a pretty big deal too. Much, much less talented team than the one that beat Auburn last year.Auburn
That Auburn also beat 2 "play off teams" last year Bama and UGA. UCF has its share of signature wins. Some of the debate against UCF G5 is pretty much a catch 22. "UCF needs to put themselves on the map". But they don't belong in an already flawed play offs system where they have the opportunity to do so.The Fiesta Bowl upset over Briles' Baylor was a pretty big deal too. False, the first giant killer was Alabama.
Actually it was Rutgers.Actually it was Centre College.
Actually it was Centre College.
Not sure how that can qualify. Give the story I guess?
No 1 Harvard, unbeaten in 25 straight games, lost at home
to tiny Centre College from Danville, Ky 6-0 in 1921.
Bo McMillan led the way for Centre.
Oh, well that doesn't count to me. That's just an upset. Maybe if they had taken it further.
I'm more thinking along the lines of building up a program into a top respectable program. Alabama and the Rose Bowl wins bringing respect to the south in general, FSU playing people and beating them to get where they are, etc.
