Speaking of goalies, I know it's a small sample size, but how do the Penguins go with Fleury over Matt Murray at this point? The kid is so cool between the pipes.

If they had to choose, I think they would keep Murray at this point. But they don't, and teams have shown the value of having two quality goalies in the past. Murray, while mentally the opposite of Fleury in pressure situations, still has some weaknesses (glove side) that could be exposed in the regular season, and it's impossible to know if he can handle the starter workload. At the very least, Fleury is a win-machine in the regular season, so having that insurance is pretty nice.

But even if Fleury re-establishes himself as the number one this season, I'll be pissed if we lose Murray to the expansion draft. Cost-controlled cup winner - can't afford to lose him for nothing.

Also, I gotta say the advertisements on the boards changing all game became distracting. Moving ads are a terrible idea in hockey, especially for newer fans who aren't in tune with following the puck.

Plus, I wonder how those people who paid for prime ad space on the boards in the arena feel about their ads being covered by CGI Honda Pilots all broadcast?

They're mostly the same companies. I assume the whole CGI boards idea was so ESPN and Rogers could make more money from sponsors specific to their countries, but the boards in the ACC itself have ads for Tim Hortons, Geico, SAP, Air Canada, Honda, Scotiabank etc.

It's too bad the guy behind the bench is such a fanboy and not doing his job as head coach, the best Oilers player last night was RNH and his line was the best line, yet it was M&M constantly over the boards last night.
