It's going to be fun to watch and see what Russell and the Broncs are going to do. There was a shallow divide over here on Russ. No one would argue his deep ball though and you will enjoy that.
The deep ball is legit, but so are deep roaming free safeties that will always be parked back there, which rarely scared Russ.
We haven't seen a deep safety since 2014.
Maybe if the Hawks didn't waste first round picks for an overrated safety and constructed a stronger roster, Wilson wouldn't have wanted out. Decisions have consequences. Glad our fan base was the beneficiary.

There is no doubt we didn't utilize our 1st round picks very good over the past 5 years... Wilson was pushing for more superstars at the point and that's the decision the Hawks had made at that point... A lot of these wasted 1st round picks were on Wilson... Jimmy Graham comes to mind... I feel he was wanting his way too much and it was starting to hurt our team in terms of depth and younger talent...
You have a reasonable argument. It is possible - what was a negative for the Seahawks is a positive for the Broncos is my thought.
