Beware of the "let Russ cook" experiment. Once we tried uncorking his cooking skills, the offense was all murdered in a kitchen grease fire that quickly got out of hand. He is an amazing compliment to a solid running game where the defense is looking to stop the run first.

It's going to be fun to watch and see what Russell and the Broncs are going to do. There was a shallow divide over here on Russ. No one would argue his deep ball though and you will enjoy that.

The deep ball is legit, but so are deep roaming free safeties that will always be parked back there, which rarely scared Russ.

Here's to hoping he becomes, "The Worst Cook in America"...

haha... j/k of course... well....maybe... Sorry for trolling...

Seriously, you definitely have a very underrated core of WR's that will benefit from finally having a good QB... Obviously hoping he doesn't do well so we can have higher draft picks in each of the rounds we acquired... Hard to wish him luck and root for him when he's the one who pushed for the trade but props to the Broncos for pulling the trigger...

Maybe if the Hawks didn't waste first round picks for an overrated safety and constructed a stronger roster, Wilson wouldn't have wanted out. Decisions have consequences. Glad our fan base was the beneficiary.

Probably true, but Williams will make them pay for that too. I look at this as getting the SB Russ with a Lynch in the backfield more than the Russian running for his life

There is no doubt we didn't utilize our 1st round picks very good over the past 5 years... Wilson was pushing for more superstars at the point and that's the decision the Hawks had made at that point... A lot of these wasted 1st round picks were on Wilson... Jimmy Graham comes to mind... I feel he was wanting his way too much and it was starting to hurt our team in terms of depth and younger talent...

You have a reasonable argument. It is possible - what was a negative for the Seahawks is a positive for the Broncos is my thought.

The Jamal Adams trade was an awful move. Two 1st and a player for a safety who isn't a ball hawk made no sense at the time. You can't pin that on Wilson IMO.

2021- No pick, Adams Trade
2020- Jordyn Brooks
2019- Traded back with GB, and then NE, Carolina, Giants, and probably other but eventually netted DK Metcalf
2018- Rashaad Penny
2017- Traded back 2 or 3 times....too hard to follow but ended with our top pick being Malik McDowell. He crashed his ATV and never played a down.

Overall not horrible.

Jamal Adams has been the most overrated S since he came out of LSU, IMO..

We'll beware of letting Russ cook. Make sure Seattle is aware that they shouldn't let Drew Lock cook, well because he sucks and burnt down the kitchen, then the house, then it spread to neighbors houses and then the whole fucking neighborhood went down in flames.

has Seattle practiced the play where Lock hands the ball to the defender on the plus 9 yard line done by 1?

odds are he’s injured by game 3

I have a feeling that Lock is going to be a master of the handoff. Assuming he actually gets the job from Geno Smith.

I predict Baker Mayfield will be cooking up plenty of fumbles in Seattle this season
Mayfield will be starting for the Browns in place of suspended Watson.
