Potentially 5 years based on Brady's health and the current system of protecting the QB in the NFL

The galluping chicken could be the qb of the future if Brady doesn't remain healthy, if not then he will become trade bait.

It's really all that complicated.

What you meant to say is the current system of keeping Brady protected. Bc Rohelisberger Flacco Dalton Tannehill Romo Ryan et al are not protected.

You're right. It's not complicated. It won't be both. You may want to spread the word to some of your fellow fans on here.

I also don't get all the love for Garoppolo. Does he still throw sidearmed or have they fixed that?

this thread exposes the level of anxiety in NE. It's truly something.

Actually Tgann, you're the one who really appears to have all of the anxiety. You've Pretty much made all of the replies in this thread.

He did and would have been the scapegoat had the defense not epically bailed him out in the 4 yd line.

Not sure about that. He overcame a 10 point 2nd half deficit to give his team a lead late in game. His D gives up 3 huge plays to get it to the 4yard line. If you saw Brady's face it was Deja vu all over again as the last 2 SB's. That catch was crazy, almost Tyree crazy, so the D bailed themselves out. All you can ask of your QB is to give your team a lead late in game, not a costly int or fumble.

totally agree and Blake Bortles and EJ Manuel will be just as good as Brady it's easy to see.

:bullshit:

Look on the bright side, you guys have the second most clutch QB in playoffs till Brady retires

Brady was great. He now shows flashes of that in the playoffs. The playoffs stats over the last few years does not show that Brady is more clutch then Flacco. Regular season yes he has the stats.

this thread exposes the level of anxiety in NE. It's truly something.

It does.

But you have to understand; they know they didn't belong in the Super Bowl in the first place and Seattle literally tossed them the win. They saw the atrocious play of Brady, they now know he's a serial cheater, they just locked up their best offensive weapon for being a mass murdered who their owner, who sleeps with hookers while his dead wife's body is still warm, said "he's a most likable young man" and paid him $40M.

Prepare for Garoppolo to excel (have you SEEN the weapons they have???) and when he does, Patriots fans are going to resent the hell out of it.

When they start 0-4 with Brady...

"He needs superstars."

When they start 4-0 with Brady...

"He makes everyone a superstar."

When they start 0-4 with Jimmy...

"He's no Brady."

When they start 4-0 with Jimmy...

"He's no Brady."

Yep, all of them.

Except for the ones made by angry, insecure Pats fans.

Well I do wonder just a little bit if Jimmy does find some success in the 2-4 games Brady is gone if the team will want to separate themselves some from this incident. I don't think they would get rid of Brady this year but they did change his contract to where they could get rid of him any year now with very little penalty against the cap.

He would do well to retire now with a SB win in hand, instead of pursuing an appeal and creating even more to remember about his cheating.....I doubt that he will do that, but I think it would be wise and then the appeal would be a moot point and people could start forgetting it and remember the SB win instead....
Not me of course, it's like a birth mark, it will never go away !!!....

Hammer is setting himself up to be impotent from massive depression for the next few years as Brady continues to play.

"Play?" Yes. But ride the pine and collect $60M is more like it.

He was a liability the last two seasons and he's only getting worse.

Dude is cancer.
