Yeah, he will.
Meaning as he approaches 40ish his skills will deteriorate. He will become a Brett Favre nobody escapes age.Brady is signed through 2017 with cap numbers of $14M, $15M & $16M
Flacco's cap numbers the next three years: $14.5M, $28.5M & $31.15M
You were saying about a cliff?
Did he "look" 37 in the Super Bowl??
Yea. There are so may QB's playing in their 40's.And it has to be considered that a healthy QB can easily go into his early 40's in the NFL now. QB's don't typically take the beating they have in the past.
Also it's not about arm strenght diminishing, which I concede will, it's about the speed at which a QB's mind can read a defense.

God- The separation anxiety when this guy retires is going to be epic.
According to Patriot fans, Garappolo will retire before Brady.Maybe it's different camps, but it seems like Patriots fans are convinced that Brady has at least 5 years left (which may be true) and are also convinced that Garappolo is their QB of the future. I don't think those two viewpoints go together. If Garappolo is the real deal, I'm pretty sure he will leave the Patriots in 3 years.

Potentially 5 years based on Brady's health and the current system of protecting the QB in the NFL
The galluping chicken could be the qb of the future if Brady doesn't remain healthy, if not then he will become trade bait.
It's really all that complicated.
You're right. It's not complicated. It won't be both. You may want to spread the word to some of your fellow fans on here.
I also don't get all the love for Garoppolo. Does he still throw sidearmed or have they fixed that?

Not sure what Brady looked like before Bledsoe went down? That didn't turn out too bad? You're right. It's not complicated. It won't be both. You may want to spread the word to some of your fellow fans on here.

I didn't see u write this....Yea. There are so may QB's playing in their 40's.

You're missing my point. It's what you are going to see going forward, for it to become more common, in particular for the upper tier QBs.
Obviously - the cliff I was referring to was the cliff the Ravens will be looking up at when Flacco's cap numbers start hitting next year. They'll have to be extremely creative to restructure those numbers in 2016 & 2017. That's a huge % of the cap he's on the books for.... which will reverberate through the entire Ravens' roster if they don't substantially reduce it.
