Having the best QB in any division of the NFL, doesn't guarantee that, that team will win that division.
Agreed, but it makes the margin for error much smaller for Seattle than the other teams.

You saw teams like Seattle and Indy make the playoffs over good teams almost purely because they had 'a guy' at QB

Just the fact that we are in everyone’s head is great. It’s a young team so who knows but my guess is we are the favorite to win the division again.

Yes I totally agree. The Hawks had their chances to beat the Rams twice last season, and that was because the Hawks had Wilson as their QB.

Sorry but what makes you think that stadium will bring in more fans? Maybe they'll have lots of attractions for the LAers?
They just went to the SB and were outnumbered 4-1 from reports I heard.

After a great season and a new stadium, they definitely will bring in a lot of new fans. After the newness wears off, we'll wait and see.....

He had to be hurt. I don't think all of a sudden he got sick of it.
Yeah as a head coach you don't put a NFL All PRO RB on the sidelines, unless there is a problem.

The Rams had the NFL 10th best average attendance at 72,000 this past season. The Rams new stadium has a capacity of 70,000 and the Rams no doubt will sellout most games.

Your whole take is garbage, first off, the Rams defensive line did not get smacked if you believe that, than you obviously didn't watch the game. Secondly, don't waste everyone's time with saying the Rams lacked chemistry, leadership, etc. Again complete nonsense, what you had was a season championship versus an inexperienced up and comer. Sean McVay in two took a 4-12 team and had them win their conference in two seasons, pretty remarkable. By introducing a new culture to a team in badly need of it, before he cam came, we were good at getting in fights if games didn't go our way, a whole of lot uncontrolled agression. The game was 3-3 going into the middle of the 4th. Rams will grow from this inexperience, coach and players alike. People act like they go blown out in the Super Bowl by an inexperienced team too.

Quotes before the SB:
Gurley Said:
"I'm used to going to the Super Bowl, being with my boys, hanging out," Gurley said. "But we actually get a chance to play in it this year, so it's cool, man. It's a great feeling. We're all happy. I'm happy. It's no better feeling than how we're feeling right now."

Brady: "It's been an incredible journey. We've got one more to go."

Rams' Gurley says he doesn't care about Super Bowl role

can't take this thread seriously when the OP puts bacon and eggs as an option and not potato salad

and besides Stan's stadium should be finished by 2020 he needs wins to fill the seats not loses
Everything is better with bacon

The thing about the division is that there is always heavy competition one team doesn't stay on top forever if you look at our history in the division. Its always some team that looks great for like 1-2 years then a new team is coming up to take over. Only the patriots have the luxury of being in a division where the other 3 teams wont pose a threat for over 10 years

Just be thankful the Hawks are not still in the AFC.

If the Hawks were still in the AFC West, they would no doubt go to the playoffs every year. JMHO.

Maybe. Didn't they go 2-2 against the AFCW this past season?
If they were they have to face NE every 3 years.

And you don't think the Hawks could beat the Pat's one or two times every 3 years?

Fair enough, but McVay has already as an 33 year old head coach proven that he is very capable of returning to the Super Bowl in the future. Did you ever think that Belichick when he was hired as the Pat's head coach, would get to as many Super Bowls as he has?

Who knows.... and no, nobody at the time suspected BB would be that good.

What set BB, Reid, and Tomlinson apart from many of the other coaches is that they have been able to field a competetive team despite (gradual) massive roster turnover for years.

Fact is, McVay inherited a very well stocked roster grossly mismanaged by Fisher, as everybody knew. It was stocked even more last off-season. It remains to be seen if he can do that when the cap catches up to the Rams, and the roster starts turning over.
