Will LeBron ever be seen as better than Kobe in the eyes of Lakers fans?

Thinking rings is an end all, be all conversation is a poor mans' view on greatness.

The Cavs handed him a less than stellar roster for years. Go look at the roster he carried to the Finals on his first stint (nobody is doing that except Lebron) with that roster.
Nobody is winning a title with that roster so he signed with Miami. Never demanded a trade like Kobe TRIED to do for years.
Remember when he went to LA they had a team full of young players and they were rebuilding. He didn't join a stacked roster LOL

Kobe is without a doubt the better Laker but that goes without saying. Just like it goes without saying Lebron is the better player. It's not close. Lebron is in the GOAT conversation and will be at the top of that convo when it's all said and done. Kobe never was in the conversation.
The Cavs had great players on the team. They were young but they were good. Kobe had nothing around him after O'Neil left beside Gasol and made the finals and won. I could never imagine Kobe taking games off to rest like James does. I mean what is that? you pay good money to see him play and get to the arena to find out he is resting. Good God!

There is literally nothing in this post that is even close to accurate.

Congrats.

First time he went to Finals his #2 was Zydrunas Ilgauskas. Starting guards in many of the playoff games were Eric Snow and Sasha Pavlovic. were you being serious?

To your last comment, you get it's more often team/trainers/docs who decide if a player sits? and not like this is a Lebron thing.

This type of sarcasm has become characteristic of a fanbase that's become accustomed to losing and needs desperately to lower the bar to make their hero measure up.
what sarcasm? By your rules if it's about rings Horry is ahead of Bryant, MJ and Lebron.

Would even add that LeBron seems to really hate the rest and the minutes restrictions.

You can just stop that silliness. If you wanna only judge players by rings then...

Horry (7) > MJ (6) <-------------------now see how utterly stupid it is to only judge players by rings?

Bill Laimbeer (2) > Ewing (0)

Would you like some other silly examples?

The fact is LeBron has better scoring, rebounding, assist, steals, blocks, FG% and 3-point FG% numbers than Kobe.

Why do you hate what the stats really say?

And one more thing. LeBron was the best player on each of his title teams. That can't be said about Kobe. Or you really gonna be foolish enough to say the Shaq-led 3-peat was really Kobe's team?
Hey don't forget Chris Jent also has 2.

Its my opinion that Kobe was the better player. So I don't have to square that with you or anyone. Kobe didn't hop from one winning team to another. He made the Lakers champions with mediocre players around him. James could never do that. He had to have NBA stars to play with. And charging is not a good play. It use to be a foul.
You could be a big boy and acknowledge when others come up with facts to refute your baseless opinions?

Yep....he's even said once he gets himself ready for a game how many minutes he plays doesn't matter to him.

You really calling the Lakers 3-peat (2000-02) Kobe's team?

And there was nothing mediocre about Gasol, he's a HOFer.

Do you need a box of Kleenex for your tears?

Always get a great laugh outta super homers that can't give LeBron any credit.

Oh I see the issue here, you don’t know much about the NBA. That explains it.

He wasn't injured and he is not the only player that takes games off to rest. Its one of the reasons the NBA is losing viewers.

So if I like Kobe as a player better than LeBron somehow I need big boy pants?
This isn’t about who you like better, that’s totally an individual fan’s opinion, we like who we like, we root for who we root for. We’re just pushing back on you claiming he had a better career. He didn’t, and it’s not up for debate.

I like Klay more than Steph but I’d never claim he was the better player.

Is it? Their revenues keep rising.

People don’t realize the nba just started an 11 year deal. I’m sure there are buyout clauses and such but the big spending isn’t stopping anytime soon.
