He wasn't injured and he is not the only player that takes games off to rest. Its one of the reasons the NBA is losing viewers.

Not really a reason NBA is losing viewers...if they are it's more the streaming services or some just not able to get the games as easily as they could.

It's certainly not Lebron

I don't accept your facts. The league on a whole is not as talented or as tough as the players in Kobe's era. Not even close. LeBron bulls his way to the hoop as defenders jump out of his way. That's not Basketball its bully ball and he never gets called. One ring since he has been in LA and it came in the covid games season. In my mind it doesn't count.

I watched an interview with former players like Shaq and Jordan and dozens of others on the subject of declining viewers. Every one of them said that the league in an effort to protect players has gone soft and there is no defense and every team plays the same game, pick and roll and shoot a three with no one in your face. The refs are too involved in the game and you can't play hard defense anymore.
Kobe would be electric playing in this atmosphere. Sorry there is no comparison to todays game and the game I grew up loving. No rivalries and everyone loves each other. ITS BORING!!!!
