Really?!? I can think of a few for Reggie. Also, you keep bringing up 1 game as if it's the be all, end all. It was the 1st game of the season, not the season.
Reggie is not even comparable to McCaffery. Reggie had more than 1 return or a touchdown and had the chance to go the distance every single time he touched the ball, even showed that ability early on with the Saints. Gerheart 2.0 is a system player who is taking advantage of lesser opponents. Not saying Reggie never did that, but he was better at it. Plus not even comparable he was a much bigger home run threat running, catching, or returning.

Reggie bush didn't crumble against strong defenses he elevated his game. McCaffery played 1 defense in the top 25 and was a no show.
In the first game of the season, before even the head coach knew how special the kid was. D-Shaw has been quoted as saying he wanted to get CMac touches but expected another year to have him get to this level. Clarkson, for an SC fan you do not pay attention to the conference, oh wait you did not know your DC had been fired until today.

Find me another game that is comparable to playing 5 top 25 defenses and it is forgotten. Henry played 5 and ran loose, McCaffery played 1 and was bottled up.

So are you saying it is a fact that McCaffery has played equally as talented defenses? And if so where are some stats to back it up. Also would like proof McCaffery did not stat pad in smaller games and McCaffery played head and shoulders in bigger games than Henry. I am sure you can provide none of the above as I have done all this research hence leading to this thread.

This was your statement:

Well McCaffery is neither... if he was at Bama the kid would be the 3rd string back. If he was at LSU at best he would be the 3rd string back.

So please, educate us all with your stats and research to back this up.

FWIW if You flipped scripts and put reggie bush in McCafferys shoes this season. I would be saying the same thing. Its not McCafferys fault the defenses were so sloppy in the PAC this year. But that has to be factored in. And when you compare his performance vs northwestern to henrys performance vs wisconsin. Makes him look a lot more like a cheap knockoff swiss army knofe IMO. We;ll see when he plays Iowa tho

Fournette died down in the stretch and is not relevant in this conversation. This conversation got started because Elliot is sitting at home along with Mayfield who are better players than McCaffery.
Neither of whom are on your team, so why do you care? All i have seen is rhetoric about poor PAC 12 defenses and a supposed west coast voting bias, when half the kids games were played after 60% of the voters (look at how the voting regions are laid out) went to bed

Answer this question, how many FULL Stanford games did you watch compared to Bama games? Be honest.

Uh actually, McCaffrey has the same ability. Plus, he can pass the ball. And if Reggie showed that ability in New Orleans, why were people calling him a bust? I watched him early in his career and he looked like a guy who was surprised that the NFL was full of guys as fast and talented as he was.

and wisconsin was henrys first game of the season. Henry also played against 4 top 25 defenses. Northwestern is the only top 25 defense McCaffery played

Enough full games to laugh at McCaffery being mentioned in the same breath as Henry. You are talking to a junkie, you are barking up the wrong tree with this game tape argument. Game tape becomes laughed off when you are played the worst defenses in the nation.

Run all the Stats and variables and you'll see a major difference. Im not just going off numbers players put up. Im going off the stats of the defenses they faced. I would love to find yards after contact. The styles and habits of the defenses they both played and the film and games I've seen in regards to both players. Im looking at this objectively and by all the numbers. Making a complete evaluation

I live CST. And I watch multiple games of every major team. Especially then they play on scrub nights, it makes it easier to do so.

None of this has anything to do with your statement that McCaffrey would be the 3rd back at Bama or LSU. I asked for your research on that. If you think Bama or LSU would relegate a talent like McCaffrey to 3rd string, you clearly have a very low opinion of the coaches.

Fournette and Guice are much more talented as are Henry and Drake. Sorry, never saw McCaffery do this.

How does that factor in when both players are offensive players? Or when the PAC defenses played so poorly the offensive stats were padded. Putting up solid numbers in a conference that plays solid defense is more impressive imo i'll run those stats tomorrow tho
