Why is this bothering you so much? Did you expect better content when you paid $300 to become a Level 3 member on a free message board?

If it does, you have two options:

1. Put me on ignore
2. Re-read post #125

$300? You should have stayed in school, sunshine.

I must have missed the classes which tell me the exact amount of money an idiot pays for a free message board.

that team would likely not even beat the Twolves or Rockets- let alone the Warriors.

PG, James, and a bunch of kids is not winning anything.

Add a couple vets on small deals, and That supporting cast is certainly better than what Cleveland had when LeBron first returned.

Griffin made a lot of good moves to upgrade the roster after LeBron signed.

But, you are right. They probably aren't winning anything anytime soon.

what issues are those?

a house in LA? lol. Magic "teaching" him business?

cmon now.

my factors are 1. Money, and 2. A chance to win.

not subjective garbage.

Unless they flip the Nets pick, Cleveland doesn't give him a realistic chance to win either. Especially if IT can't play.

Wiggy is so afraid his team is going to suck again he's making up bullshit just to feel better.

Two things will happen in Cleveland:

1. Lebron leaves
2. Lebron signs the richest contract in NBA history, crippling whatever chances the cavs have to sign any decent help for him

He also doesn't have to put up ad's and gets a bigger avatar and signature space and I think it's $125 not $300 but it's his money.

And yet, the Lakers have still ended up with top 3 picks.
Sooner or later though the Lakers luck might run dry so I would just as soon see them improve and not need any more first round picks unless they could use it to dump Den and land two big free agents

Imaginewhere the Lakers completely clear the books- stretch Deng, let Randle walk, let KCP walk, let Lopez walk, trade Clarkson into cap space-

IF ALL that happens- and they sign George and LeBron- they will have about 6-8 M left in cap space to add to a team that will have basically nothing but George, LeBron, and guys that either cant, or just recently, were allowed ot legally drink

the problem is that signing LeBron and George together will cost about 66M. The cap is only 103M next year.

So- JUST LeBron, George, Deng's dead cap weight of 7M (assuming you stretch him- if you dont hes on the books for 18M and makes it practically impossible), Ingram, and Ball equal about 86M.

Thats 4 players coming out to 86 million. LeBron at about 35 in his first year, George at 31 (at least in his first year- by the end itll be up to 40), Ingram at about 6 and Ball at about 7 and Deng's dead room of 7M (36M divided by 5 years).

thats 4 players for 86M. That leaves you about 17M to fill out the other 10 plus spots on the roster.
Lakers are expecting big development from Randle and Ingram. They would smart enough to trade him with Deng before they would do the stupidty you suggested so put down that crack pipe son. Youre high

i mean- basketball wise Sixers make a ton of sense--- but i am not considering anyone but LA and CLE--- anywhere else he looks like a mercenary and hurts his legacy.

We shallsee-- but thats just the feeling i get. This is not going to be a strict basketball decision by any means.

Um....no matter where he lands, he will look mercenary.

Philly would be just as strong as the Lakers in terms of young talent and capspace.

But, I agree....he's likely not considering them.

He will consider the Lakers if they can attract another top guy that can give him another shot at a title.

Or

He admits that his Championship days are done and he wants to get the jump on his life after basketball.

But, I disagree that LA and the Cavs are his singular focus.

If he can reign in that Ego and accept that his friends are not a package deal, the Spurs are his BEST option if he goes.

Pop is not having Klutch, nor LRMR, run roughshod in Spursville.

as YOU said before?

apparently the reports that they are already shopping the pick dont jive with what YOU said. lol.

like i said--- trade a HUGE package to the Griz for conley and gasol--- let them clear cap space- give them the brooklyn pick...and beat the Showers.

thats what i would do.

Shopping the pick means what to you?
To me, it means finding the best offer and going to James with it, just like in the previous situations last summer.
If he agrees to stay, pull the trigger.
If not, no trade.
So far, James hasn't agreed.
That's why you still have Love vs George or Butler.
