Johnny Football - 6'0" 207

Johnny is a great athlete. He is undersized, how will he be able to take hits in the NFL? Can he be a pocket QB in the league?? Instincts will take over in the heat of the moment and he will run, more chance of injury?

Teddy Bridgewater - 6'2" 214

He is a pocket QB, he has the size at the position. At times made the throws he had to. He has small hands, will that affect him??

Blake Bortles - 6'5" 232

He has the size, build, and athleticism, but can he be a pocket passer? Does he have the arm or accuracy?? Same as Johnny will he go back to his old ways and want to take off, difference is he has strength and size to take a hit

As players I think Bridgewater, Bortles, Manziel in that order, but I'm going to take it away from the player and say whomever HOU drafts...they have the best supporting cast of the QB needy teams imo.

Bortles & Bridgewater are going to make an impact at some point in the NFL. I'm not convinced that Manziel is anybody's answer. Cleveland can have him for all I care... Colt McCoy 2.0?:pound:

I think Bridgewater has to be viewed as the safest at this point as he does seem to be the most pro ready of the 3. I think he has the highest floor but the lowest ceiling of the 3 though. What you see is what you are going to get. Bortles to me has the highest ceiling as he definitely has the arm and actually I think had one of the best 4th quarter ratings of any quarterback in college football. So I think he has the clutch ability you are looking for. He just needs refined and needs to go to a good situation.

I personally think Mettnberger has the best shot at being a decent NFL QB, of those in the poll Bortles

Colt McCoy 2.0???

Colt McCoy was a 3rd round pick......I see no parallels. Everyone with a brain knew he was a backup at the next level.

Despite his tiny hands, I gotta go with Bridgewater.

I say Bridgewater as well. I have had mixed feelings about Manziel since forever. He is a great athlete and at first I thought he was the guy, now I'm not sure and would go Bridgewater before him. I have the same feeling about Bortles. If Manziel gets bigger and proves he can be a pocket passer he could be great, but that is a bit of a risk at this point.

1. Bridgewater
2. Johnny
3. Bortles

Manziel is nothing better than a 2nd round pick IMO... He looks like a backup to me, but I've been wrong before.

Jaworski is tearing Manziel apart right now. Says a 4th rounder, most of things he is saying is true. We just don't know his work ethic, his drive to get better, and the chip on his shoulder

And if Johnny has these attributes he COULD be dangerous in the NFL.

He just reminds me of Ryan Leaf back in the day. Hope I'm wrong and he does well in the NFL.

He's not the most talented, but I kind of agree here... a couple of reasons...a.) most likely is not going to a terrible team since he's not a top pick, b.) he probably won't have to be rushed out there.

Johnny Football...I think he has a chance to be a decent QB at the pro level, but I don't foresee him as a long term starter. He's a better passer from the pocket than you might think if you've never really watched him..especially this year.

He has some skills that you just can't teach in terms of pocket awareness...I just think he's not fast enough or durable enough to run a spread or read option...forget about RW, he needs to pull out the tape on Drew Brees and pattern his game in that direction the best he can...I think he'll be a 1 contract player from what I can see today.

IMO safest pick and most likely to succeed are mutually exclusive. I think that Johnny Manziel has the highest potential and can be a star in the NFL but also could be out of the league pretty quickly due to his propensity to take a lot of risks and throw his body around.

You guys act like JF has done nothing all offseason to make himself a better QB, some of you are just so blinded by the hate you have for him, that you don't see it. He's been working all offseason long to make himself a better pocket passer.

JF has that "entitled' attitude that Leaf had IMO. Doesn't bode well for him.
