Who Do you think will come here if were to deal for someone?

From what I've read,their top two choices have been Hamels and Greinke in that order.They aren't going o get Hamels as he is closer to a mega bucks deal with Philly.They could get Cliff Lee but it all depends on how long negotiations go on between Hamels and Philly.If they drag it out to July 31st the Rangers can't wait that long

Prior to the Lewis news I'd say none of the above. Now I think Hamels gets a deal done, Philly moves Lee for monetary reasons and Lee only has a few teams he can be traded to.

Nope, but I bet they are still watching. Then when the shoe drops, we will see a flurry of trades. Happens every year, doesn't it. The Tex trade along with Murphy. Last year it was Adams and Koji. Of course I don't expect anything to happen until Monday, if it does at all.

I think our farm is so deep we can get 2 pitchers i know its risky but assitions of greinke and johnson would be nasty. Johnson, greinke, harrison, darvish in a playoff series would be really tough to beat probably the best rotation in baseball.

Ruiz is one helluva catcher.Hes an awesome offensive weapon.To get both Lee and Ruiz we would likely have to part with a handfull of prospects plus 2 or 3 on the roster like Murphy,Feliz,Holland and maybe Mooreland.I wold settle just for Clee

I don't get all the Greinke love from the media. He's great in Milwaukee & bad everywhere else.

The one guy the Rangers should go after if he becomes available is Hamels. One guy to maybe keep an eye on is John Lester. He's struggling right now & the Red Sox could be sellers soon. Lester has a proven track record. If the Rangers see something they feel can be easily corrected he could be a nice addition.

That doesn't surprise me. Why make a trade if it isn't for a game 1 pitcher. We have plenty of very good pitching. We need an ace.

Greinke is a still in the post season. Can't handle the pressure ... that's why he likes low pressure cities like KC and MIL. TEX needs a starter with a social disorder like a hole in the head.

Greinke's psychy makes CJ Wilson look like Mr. Rodgers.

I'll take Hamels over Greinke all day unless Greinke agrees to an extension. There's absolutely no question what you're getting with Hamels and he's an absolute playoff force. Which is something we just lost.
