I'm not fond of Martinez's decisions late in the season, but as was mentioned earlier, I think at this point he will be the starter until the offense doesn't produce or he gets hurt again. Then I think Carnes comes in and never looks back, unless that baseball kid shows up, then I could see another QB battle next spring.

Not a Cody Green homer by any means. But...

Hopefully simplifying things on offense will help all of NU's QB's execute better.

For the most part, QB's are only as good as their O-Lines and receivers. Is everybody on the same page? Are false starts, holding penalties, delays of game, etc. killing momentum and stalling drives? Are receivers running improper routes and dropping balls? Can skill players be coached to hold onto the ball?

NU didn't just fire the QB coach (the problem was bigger than that), they fired the Offensive Coordinator and the receivers coach.

All we know is how the QB's looked in a system that wasn't working.
