looking at the box score, I doubt Dallas won on purpose, but they underestimated the Eagles lack of care for that game.

No... I watched highlights and D Lawrence got a sack in the 4th against our 3rd string OLine and 3rd string QB. They were trying hard to win that game. That’s why Zeke got over 20 carries.

Hey @dbldwn711 , did you know that PE1

1. guaranteed that Wentz would win MVP
2. claims that Wentz has "far better stats" than Prescott
3. doesn't recognize Dak as having a far better QBR than Wentz
4. says that he guarantees Wentz will have an MVP caliber season in 2018-2019
5. PM'd several Mods to have us banned because "we are the same person"
6. PM'd a Mod demanding to have my betting history unlocked
7. welched on not one, not two, but THREE bets with me
8. once said DACA recipients are more patriotic than "all white people"

lol, the Oline starters played most of the game. the first string QB started the game, then 2nd stringer finished the game once they realized they couldn't beat the COwboys on their own field.

Wow. That’s quite a list.

He keeps talking about how philly had nothing to play for in that last game as if that was an excuse for losing. But when I asked him what Dallas had to play for in that game he went silent.

Dallas had little to play for but pride (and a worse draft pick).

That said, handicappers is being a deliberate tool here by misrepresenting what happend in the game in a manner as bad or worse than anything PhoenixEagle has ever done. He states that Sudfeld was a 2nd stringer, rather than the 3rd stringer he actually was/is, pressed into service of 2nd stringer due to the Wentz injury, yet claims that the Cowboys mostly played 2nd stringers. A gross misrepresentation, as if a 2nd or 3rd stringer pressed into starting service means that player is suddenly 1st stringer/starter level. Only a complete idiot or a troll would make that argument

Dak and Zeke played much if not most of that game, facing an Eagles defense that rested many of its most important players (Fletcher Cox, Barnett, B Graham, Jenkins, Bradham, McLeod, Darby, Mills); the Eagles pulled Foles early, just as Kelce, Brooks and Lane Johnson (played 1/3 of all snaps on offense). Vaitai was the only player on offense to play all snaps!

So, for 2/3 of the game the Eagles fielded their 2nd/3rd string offense. The most important players on the Eagles defense did not play at all or played less than 10% of the snaps (9 out of 11 players). The closest thing to starters that saw the field that day (Curry and P Robinson) played just over 60%.

Dallas played Prescott the whole game, Elliot as well, just as Witten, Bryant and Williams (could not find O-line snap counts). The Dallas offense did not do anything against the Eagles 2nd/3rd string defense until late in the game (when even most 2nd stringers were out). Their 1st stringers on offense did rack up the whopping total of 301 total yards and 6 points against a 2nd and 3rd string defense.

The Cowboys played their 1st stringers on defense much further into the game, if not the whole game (e.g Sean Lee 100% of snaps). And yes, they shut down an Eagles offense that for 2/3 of the game played its 2nd and 3rd stringers (with Sudfeld as a 3rd string QB).

OK, now with all that said can you guarantee an Eagles win if they had to win?

So then, don't say any more that you haven't missed one play of an Eagles game in 20 years:nono:

I'm guessing they score more than 6 points if the starters play, but who knows the final score with all those changed variables.

That's completely fair, especially if they had something to play for it may have meant Dallas did too.

I see handicrapper went from about $45k in #Fake$ to $28k. Must've been a bad week. Dropped his win percentage to 77.9% I'm guessing:lol:

LOL... Yankees/Cowboys fan.
That doesn't even make sense? But I guess that's expected from the Philly School system

No comment on how the "meaningless game" led to Eagles fans looking to replace Foles in the playoffs?

100% guarantee is always impossible (any given Sunday, and so on).

Would the Eagles most likely have won that game if the both teams had fielded their best available squads that game? I would say 80-85% likely. A low scoring slogfest, something like 9-0 or 9-3 Eagles, something like that. Mostly due to the Eagles defense setting up the offense.

The way Foles looked that particular day, i think you probably would have lost by more if you didn't sit the starters.

Foles played bad, but I think him playing bad would be outweighed by having 9 starters on the field for the defense. As well as Ertz playing more. In all the games before that, even when playing bad, there were at least a few drives where he was good enough to get the team in FG range.
