Somewhere around .500. You guys are gonna learn a hard lesson with good ole kirkyboy. He will have good stats but his overall ability is slightly above average. He says all the right things but he is 100 percent a me first player. If a wide receiver breaks open for a game winning catch but a guy is barreling down on him he will not throw the pass and take the hit. He will assume the fetal position and take the sack. If he's running to the sidelines and could dive and take a hit but maybe get that first down, he is running out of bounds.
He also has a very slow ass release speed. Which means he's going to fumble.....a lot.
People have no idea how often he fumbles the ball but recovers it effectively killing a drive but having zero adverse effects on his all important qb rating.

Things went about as good for the Bucs last year as they possibly could.

They had shockingly few injuries and Baker had a career year. And they still went 9-8 and only won the division by a tie breaker.

They added almost no one in the off-season and lost Barrett, White and Davis (one player from each level on D).

I can understand betting against the Falcons.

I am obviously biased because the Falcons are my team, but we are clearly the favorites in the NFC South IMO - we have the most talented and complete team in the division. I understand being reluctant to trust the Falcons given our history of choking, but the Bucs, Saints and Panthers all have more holes on their roster than we do. Kirk is the best QB in the division, we have strong offensive weapons and a good O-Line and an improved D. We should win the division this year if we stay healthy.

What does this have to do with my point? And again that point is Kirk Cousins has been trashed by fans and the media as the guy who pads his stats but is not a winner. This has been the narrative on Cousins since he played in Washington. Now he goes to the Atlanta Falcons and those same people are saying he will make them contenders which is just so bizarre. This point has absolutely nothing to do with the league being a week to week league, it has been said since he signed with Atlanta.

Cousin Kirk is an extremely slow starter to the season, couple that with him coming off a serious injury, and new offense. Don’t be surprised if falcons are 1-5 to start then they get rolling.

Spoken like a true prophet, then came Sunday and classical Kirk Cousins! Blows my mind that there still exist people who are surprised by the results of Cousins after the same stuff happened for a decade on two different teams. I guess the third time is a charm!

Ya know, I used to think Sam Bradford was among the kings of QB's getting pay days that their teams never get to cash in on, like his last deal he got in Arizona I believe full of guaranteed cash before he stunk it up more and retired. But dudes like that don't hold a candle to Kirk, that guy has made a legit fortune for over a decade now out of fooling NFL teams into thinking he could one day take the next step and translate nice stats into actual winning seasons that go deep into the playoffs or make a title run.
