so glad i stayed up. i thought this team found itself the last week or so of the spring schedule.

8th inning woes again. Awful execution by Marshall. Big miss to Walsh on a 1-2 count

Bad, bad inning by Marshall. But I'm even more pissed over Robert's stupid gaff in the 3rd and then the Sox failing to bring home more than 1 run in the 6th with men on 2nd & 3rd and no one out. I had a sinking feeling that was going to be the difference in the game.

I believe the Sox should be 3-0 if they played defense like what was characteristic of last year's effort. I still can't believe I stayed up to watch Robert waive Anderson off of a ball Anderson would have caught only to have it bounce off his head.

Still - a win tonight and the Sox are 500 on the road - which is respectable. Last year the Sox started off 1-3 I believe.

Garrett Crochet looked pretty good in his two innings. He is not flaming 100 MPH, but hits 98-99 pretty regularly - I think he is stepped it down a notch to protect his arm. I was hoping La Russa would keep him in for the 8th inning since he had only thrown about 18 pitches in two innings.

That may be a blessing for you. Ohtani throwing 100+ mph and then hits the first pitch he sees in the 2nd spot in the order about 450 feet. What a talent that guy is.

Also Anderson tweaked his leg running out a grounder, and Garcia is in at SS. Maybe do something else LOL

I wouldn't make that leap, the game is on TV and once it starts the team doesn't care about that. It's game 4, no need to risk anything.
