can't believe they didn't challenge on the madrigal steal. clearly he was safe. thumbs down on la russa there. killed the inning.

hating yasmani behind the plate. just can't stop anything in the dirt. sox are throwing this one away.. madrigal fucks up an easy dp and yasmani's pb gives them the run.

Exhaustion overtook me. A game isn’t just one play but this Madrigal making a crushing defensive error thing is starting to be a pattern.

imo this was the first of what i'd call "age-related_ fuck ups. i do hope the media asks him why the hell he didn't appeal madrigal's being thrown out on his stolen base attempt. that probably changes the whole ball game. puts a runner on second with one out instead of 2 outs nobody on. there can be NO excuse for this.

I don't think Madrigal's SB attempt was conclusively wrongly called. But, it did leave room to be 2nd guessed. One thing I loved earlier in the game - was the decision to have Robert steal 3rd against the infield shift - that set up the first run. I think that was pure La Russa.

Let's see how if plays out tonight.

I only got through the first 3 innings then crashed. The late night games are tough on me. Need my beauty sleep.

Just makin' sure you're still on this Hype Train.

Mingo is dead off about Bummer being to blame though. You error into Mike Trout and you get what you deserve. Bummer did his job. Trout digging out that pitch basically on top of his kneecap was insane. Madrigal gave him that opportunity...not Bummer.
