We aren't getting squat diddly for Robert. $3 and a pocketful of hand lint. Really thought he would be something...Another in a long line of talent that never produced for this team.

Just stop playing the games. I can't take it. Show up again one day when you can field a competitive team. This is becoming unparalleled on an historic level. Not just for a season. This is turning into an entire era.

It's insanity. Do you realize how HARD it is to be THIS bad across multiple seasons (our 3rd now) like this? You almost have to TRY.

They've completely lost me and I'm the "rebuild guy". I'm the "blow it up" guy. I can take my lumps for A YEAR, and throw another losing season on top of it after... but this is a disgrace. There's no sign of it ending!

How do you field this product (AGAIN!) and expect fans to stick by you? It's a spit in the face to fans who have been lifers with this team. I'm not saying you need to go out and needless make deals for a team that won't be competing for a world series. But for the love of God - you can't field this product again. You just CAN'T.

I'm glad my old man isn't alive to see this. Truly. I don't even know what he'd have to say.

The reality is that I don't see the Sox ever being consistently competitive-just here and there one-off surprise years-unless we have new ownership or baseball institutes a salary cap. It is what it is. You could see us transitioning into a franchise like the Marlins over the past decade and a half.

It's tough as a fan because prior to 2010ish we were a viably competitive team...not perfect and certainly we had a lot of losing, but there was never a feeling of inevitability that the franchise had literally no chance to make something of itself. So yeah, old timer Sox fans gotta be shaking their heads.

It's a hot button topic here...but the minute we made the Sale trade I was more skeptical of this franchise than I've ever been. It signaled a change for me that we didn't look like a top half in baseball type team and were going to be gutter dwellers consistently. They duped me for the Covid and following season because hope springs eternal, but you could see that we were no longer the franchise that I grew up with in the 80s/90s/early 2000s right around that time.

Oh well...At least I can say I attended a game for one of the worst professional sports teams of all time.

I should really clarify that...The new ownership has to be big spenders for it to matter. So just new isn't enough...New and mega f*cking rich with a George Steinbrenner attitude kind of owner.
