Bullllllshit. You don't leave a championship team if you can win more championships.

Kyrie hit the shot that won that series. Cavs couldn't get it done without him the previous year could they. "The help" left because they were tired of Lebronda

Shaq left kobe

JORDAN would have gotten smoked by the 1994 or 1995 Rockets and had a blemish.
The Rockets were one of the few teams of that era that gave him fits and really made Jordan look mortal in a relative sense.

The opponents in 91,92,93,96,97,and 98 were weak sauce teams that were not really expected to win.
Maybe the 1998 Jazz could be viewed as an equal, but the other 5 were weaker opponents. 98 is debatable.

Jordan avoided the only Western team that likely would have beaten him.
Nobody was beating Peak Akeem Olajuwon at his best in 1994/1995.

In some ways Jordan got a bit lucky by dodging that bullet and keeping his record perfect.

You are one dumb fucking homer. Holy shit the kool aid drank in this thread. The Bulls got to game 7 of ECF without Jordan in 1994 against the Knicks. Knicks took Houston to 7.

So Houston would smoke the Bulls with Jordan?

You drankin the Rocket fuel boy

Lebron isn't surrounded with the talent Jordan had.
He was in Miami and in fact no player has ever been surrounded with as much talent as what LeBron had in Miami. In fact they had so much talent - LeBron clearly stated that they would win 7 championships in a row and then they choked several times

By the way, between 2007 and 2011 Kobe was the best player in the league.

So that leaves only 7 years for lebron

Lebron has been in the top 5 for that long, but IMO Durant has been the best player for the last couple of years, Kobe ws the best during the late 00s and before that you could make a case for Duncan, Garnett and others.

Lebron is great, and Jordan was great, but you can't do a statistical comparison between the two, since they play different positions and the game has changed a lot.

That been said, I don't think even Jordan the player can surpass Jordan the myth.

Could you imagine if Kareem went straight into the NBA? Would people still consider Jordan the GOAT?

I will just put this out there - Michael Jordan was in the NBA six years before he won a championship and he did not win even one until after Kareem RETIRED:whistle:

Or what if Jordan went straight to the NBA instead of spending a few years in college and winning a title there. And what if he didn't retire in 1993?

People that have eyes and saw both players throughout their careers don’t need statistical comparisons. Truthfully it’s not as close as some want to believe.
