That's the thing. They both had a supporting cast. It's just MJ went 6-0 with his while Lebron and the Heat went 2-3.

The Heat should have beaten the Mavericks.

But, during his entire run, Jordan never played a team on the level of the 2014 Spurs. And his teams were better than LeBron's Heat teams. They both had great players, those Bulls had better fit.

Heck, I am not sure Jordan ever played a team as good as the 2012 Thunder or the 2013 Spurs. And i know he never played a team anywhere near as good as the Warriors.

That is why he is 6-0 while LeBron is 3-5.

That one stat has absolutely no bearing on which player is better.

Were they really favored tho?

Pretty sure they were.

Wade was playing poorly due to nagging injuries and Father Time. He was not anywhere close to vintage form.

The Spurs are very comparable to the Jazz.

Jazz won 64 and 62 games the year they went the finals.
Thats including league MVP Karl Malone whos a top 5 PF of All Time
and a top 5 PG of all time with Stockton

Spurs won 58 and 62 games the year they played the Heats

Bulls 2-0 without going to a game 7 or getting blown out 4-1
Both Jordan and Lebron had a supporting cast at the time.

I think the difference is.. Give Jordan Lebron's supporting help since 2010 and he is working on 7-8 titles already at the moment. (With maybe 1 finals loss). While Lebron is 3-5. In danger of being 3-6 after this season.

Thats the difference between the two. Jordan was just a better competitor with a big desire in REFUSING to lose.

LeBron just isn't the alpha-male MJ was

Or how bout:
6 Final MVPs
5 MVPs
1 DPOY
10 Scoring Titles
9 Defensive First Team
3x Steal Leader

To say Jordan faced easier competition in the playoffs is ridiculous.

Especially if you look at the East since 2010. Thibs Bulls were probably his toughest competition this entire team and they had injuries to their top players during most of that time

And to think not being favored means anything because nobody is betting against MJ.
I would find it hard too, to bet for Miami after losing to Dallas.

Okay Jordan played in the tougher east..... but what great team did Jordan beat in the east??
He totally sucked versus the 1980s Celtics and Pistons. He lost all but one time versus those teams.
The 1990s Knicks and Pacers have the same number of rings as the Raptors and Pacers squads of today.

Jordan beat one championship tested core group in the East, the Pistons.
Jordan beat one championship tested core group in the West, the Lakers without Kareem.
TWO total teams that had rings and championship pedigree at the time.

Lebron beat one championship tested core group in the East, the Pistons.
Lebron beat another championship tested core group in the East, the Celtics.
Lebron beat one championship tested core group in the West, the Spurs.
Lebron beat another championship tested core group in the West, the Warriors.
FOUR total teams that had rings and championship pedigrees at the time.

Not to mention,

The 2 squads Jordan beat were clearly on decline.

3 of the 4 you mentioned that leBron beat were either prime or on the rise.

Here's some highlights of your greatest player ever the Big O

Look at those handles, LOL. He barely uses his left hand, this is one of the greatest ever? You can't be serious.
It's not fair to compare those guys to modern players or even consider them for greatest ever, the game was primitive back then.

It's amazing that you read this

There are compelling arguments, IMO, for MJ, KAJ, Magic, Wilt, or Lebron being the GOAT.

I think anyone outside of that list of players is a pretty huge reach. Maybe Oscar Robertson?

To me saying that Oscar Robertson is the greatest player ever. Is English not your primary language?

You included Oscar with a group of players you said had "compelling arguments" to being the GOAT. I then provided video evidence that he isn't even close to being the greatest ever and now you wanna act like I pulled his name outta thin air? LOL. Why even mention Oscar in your post if you don't consider him one of the greatest?

LeBron is one of the greatest of all time, but I can't put him over Jordan.

Seriously, how you call this guy the GOAT?

I mean, look at this....

This is an embarrassment. I can't believe people call him the greatest ever.

Guess you haven't been watching the last decade.

Jordan flopped also...and he pushed off to gain an advantage. Refs were very lenient with Jordan...James has to earn his.

Jordan never flopped like Lebron, not even close. Show me where he was doing that cartoonish WWE style flopping that Lebron does.

And Lebron doesn't use his off arm to push off when he drives? Are you serious?

Refs arent lenient with Lebron? LOL.

Yes, it is close. Jordan did it all the time.

LeBron doesn't use his arm to push off nearly as much as Jordan did. Not even close.

Refs don't bail out King James like they did Jordan.

Show me where Jordan was doing those ridiculous flops like Lebron, especially where he wasn't even hit by anyone and still flopped like he got hit by a car, please show me some of those since he "did it all the time".

Lebron pushes off more often and more blatantly, this isn't even close.

Refs don't bail Lebron out? LOL.

And LOL @ a grown man calling another man "King James"

Obviously you lack objectivity in this debate and you lack any knowledge of Jordan's career so this will be my last response to you.

You obviously don't know what's going on in the NBA and are just here to troll.

LOL @ you win, are you 12 years old or something? Damn that's pathetic. But what should I expect from someone who calls another man "King James" and is actually proud to do so. SMH

LOL@ that flop he got hurt on that play and did you notice him leaving the floor right at the end of the video? Is that the best you can find? Try again.

I can find plenty more Lebron flops if you want me to.
