If they can somehow get rid of Chandler, Dudley and Knight bad contracts they could get Lebron and a guy worth around $20 mil

Spurs, Philly, Rockets for me.

I don't want him coming to Arizona and fucking up my $3 weekday aftermarket Suns tickets....lol

Boston (which ain't happening) or the west for me. I don't want LeBron anywhere near the the Land of Cheesesteaks unless he's on vacation.

How is he getting to the Celtics? They can't sign him outright. Would the Cavs be interested in a trade for Kyrie if Lebron was even willing to do a sign and trade? Trading Lebron for Kyrie likely just puts the Cavs in NBA purgatory where they're always too good to get any help through the draft, not good enough to contend for a title and have no way of improving.

The Lakers may have a lot to do, but they can do it all in one off-season.

As I think we all agree, there is no perfect landing spot for him. Any team he goes to, including staying in Cleveland, will have a fair amount of work to do and even then, it may very well not be enough.

He may end up a Laker simply because they are the best of several flawed options when you add in the fact that he has homes and businesses out here.

I think he knows there is no perfect spot. That may be a big part of why he was putting so much emphasis on what his family wants as far as where he ends up.

Kyrie won’t stay, he is what Cleveland wants an expiring contract with something to prove.

I agree he wants more championships.

The problem for Lebron is, where is he going to go that he can get more championships?

The Sixers? Maybe, but they are still very young and may have some concerns about him stunting Simmons growth. Plus, Redick is the only shooter they have and he can leave this summer I believe.

Actually, I think a Kyrie, Morris, and future first (not Kings pick) makes a ton of sense.

Cleveland wouldn't keep Kyrie though. They could move him to Philly for Fultz and the 10 pick. That way, Cleveland gets 2 more prospects and a ton of cap savings. Since Philly has cap space, they would not have to match Kyrie's salary.

That actually does make sense. It's why it won't happen though. lol

The one question would be how Kyrie fits in Philly. He likes the ball and they have Simmons who needs the ball to be effective.

If Pop can patch things up with Kawhi, San Antonio would make the most sense. Arguably the most consistent franchise in the NBA the last 20 years, Lebron could play with a top 5 player in his prime (depending on that quad), along with a top 30 player in Aldridge. He'd also play for an established HOF coach that he's always coveted. Everything hinges on Kawhi. That would make the most sense for Lebron though. He'd also be able to play in an established offensive system that doesn't force Lebron to contribute offensively at such a high volume for his team to be successful, and Kawhi would be the defender on the primary player on the opposition on a daily basis.

Yeah, if the Kawhi stuff gets worked out, it definitely makes the most sense if he wants a title.

Having said that, you'd also have the most drama seeking star in history going to the least dramatic franchise in history.

Not sure how that would work.

That's definitely a nice counter. But for Lebron, it's been public perception that he wants an established coach like Pop. He should know full well that with Pop you're not going to be able to have your cake and eat it too.

They say you learn things along the way. Having organization and structure is a thing that often goes unnoticed but is absolutely critical. Look at San Antonio, Miami, Golden St. and Lakers (when Jerry Buss was still alive). All stable organizations with great front offices and good ownership with structure.

True. But drama queens typically don't change. We'll see though. If he's truly about getting more rings, I agree that San Antonio makes the most sense. He'd just have understand that the Spurs ain't having it when it comes to drama and that Pop's gonna get in his grill like he did Timmy, Parker and Manu. lol

to the OP question, clearly stacking up on bags of ice to help with his broken hand that no member of the media knew about for 3 games until today.

Agreed. I'd imagine that one season with Pop may be one of those be careful what you wish for scenarios.

Pop and LeBron would not work. My guess is Pop has zero interest in having LeBron on his team. Those are two polar opposites of basketball.

Pop is about structured well coached fundamental basketball. LeBron is AAU basketball. Those worlds do not mix.

Lots of interesting Lebron rumors going around and it's only going to get worse.

Driving to the grocery store a little earlier today, I heard a sports talk guy say that some folks in the entertainment industry are saying that Lebron to the Lakers is pretty much a done deal.

He added that Lebron wants to be a "mogul" in the entertainment industry and that if he wants to set himself up for life after basketball, plus have at least a solid chance at competing for a title...that the Lakers are the only team that makes sense for him.

He said that he probably saw Kobe holding up that Oscar and wants one for himself.
