Hell no.

But, for the Celtics, he's worth #3.

Lots of talent, at positions the Celtics don't need, are available with the third pick.

Unless they have some trades set up to thin the herd, they can't take another guard like Murray or Hield.

Those guys are great shooters. But, they are not pg's and are smallish for.the 2.

Don't you already have 4 of this on the roster?

They could go boom or bust with Dragon, Elleson, Chriss, Brown....

It's gonna take awhile for those guys and you still don't know what you have in Olynyk.

I'd rather have Love....

I can't imagine the Cavs trading Love for a draft pick unless Lebron jumps ship. They will want to reload with a more appropriate veteran. Love and filler to NY for Melo, along with Kyrie to the Clips for CP3 to set up the Cleveland Banana Boats!

How the fuck do the Celtics have the 3rd pick after making the playoffs?

NM. They have the 3rd pick from the Nets......damn. They have rebuilt faster than the Lakers. And can continue to do so. :gaah:

Trading with the Nets = the gift that keeps on giving

Mecca..... Murray's drill results made the Green Team radio talks yesterday. Of course Calapari releases statements that he is the pick with the highest ceiling in the draft................. The 79 is very impressive for that Celtics drill. Their drills are believed to be the toughest...some players wont even participate...

I still struggle to even give up pick 3 for him. He plays no D, so he is a liability 50% of the time.

Comments are here dont suggest he is a top 10 star ..........at most top 25

Yeah,.I totally see your point.

But, unless you are getting a franchise guy in the draft, the Celtics need to try and accelerate the process.

Time to get some Vets that can contribute.

Would you be opposed to reuniting Stevens with Gordon Hayward?

Not sure what the cost would be....

Hayward is a free agent next summer, so the price may be cheaper than normal.

The way things are going, the Lakers are ending up with more young talent than Boston

Right, and teams would be loathe to give up much talent for a guy they could just wait a year for and try to sign outright.

Didn't stop the Knicks when they traded for Melo!

I see Hayward in Boston for sure. Kevin Mannix local sports guy now argues a pick 3 is worth more than love. Hey maybe give cavs a few second rounders

I really like Crowder as a player. Could he and Hayward both start in a smaller lineup?

Maybe, but there would need to be a 3rd party involved because Cleveland would need an established player.

Probably not.

They could share the minutes.

I just see Gordon reuniting with his Butler Coach.

They are really tight and Hayward would give them another scorer.

I would say Howard.

But, playing Tristan and Dwight together would be a disaster.

If they trade Kevin, I have NOLA as my dark horse.

Love for Anderson.

Exactly...if you can't get your shit together in a contract year, you never will.

It's too bad because the kid can play. Unfortunately, he is not motivated to be the best he can be.

I hate to say it, but Melo might actually fit pretty well in Cleveland. Don't know what it would take for the Knicks to deal him, but I would think Love + another minor asset could get it done.

After that, if they dealt Irving for cp3, LeBron would truly have a handpicked roster.

Pretty sure Phil would do that deal and Melo would love to stand in the corner and shoot threes.

They Paul thing as not as.absurd as some might think.

If Chris tells Doc he is leaving, Kyrie is better than him walking for nothing next Summer.

I would be forced to renounce the NBA.
