So many superstars were free agents, or were soon to be. In one gigantic decision by Lebron James, the fate of many and many teams were determined for the next few years.

The superstars excluding perhaps Kevin, are now locked and loaded. The free agency bonanza that was to transform teams came and went.

The Cavs were the winners, the Cavs.

I expect with that roster 3 to 4 rings.

And it was all a reaction to one mans decision.

I still think the Cavs made a mistake trading Wiggins.

Not short term unless Love bolts which is highly unlikely.

I know James preached youth and patience in his phony letter,
but this was his hopeful master plan since the day he met with Gilbert.

It is really crazy the sway that Lebron has right now.

The Cavs should have a window that is about 5 years long to put some rings up. LeBron at 29, Love at 26, and Kyrie at 22......

The Cavs had one of the best offseasons in league history- when you add the best player in the league- and another top 10 player, plus some solid role players you WIN the offseason without a doubt.

Congrats to Dan Gilbert and gm David Griffen on executing their plan

That was all LeBron's plan, not their plan - if LeBron decides to come back of course they'd take him back

When did they get Kevin Durant?!?

the coward that just bailed on the Olympic team because he is too busy negotiating his marketing deal?

shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.....we saw in the playoffs 2 seasons ago what Durant is without RW- barely more than first round fodder....

Durant is the 2nd best player in the league but their is a WIIIIDE gap between him and LBJ

It all comes down to chemistry.

But, I think they will have a fantastic Season.

I don't think they win it all year 1.

But, by year 3?

Yeah.....

Quite frankly I was disappointed with Lebron James decision to return to Cleveland and I personally believe he made a huge mistake. I definitely did not like the way he handled his decision to leave Cleveland four years and thought he could have and should have handled it better, but had every right to leave. I didn't like the way players colluded together ahead of time and gave Pat Riley a heads up before "the decision" but I think LJ should have stayed in Miami and finished his career there like a real man and in fact I think leaving Miami was in many ways cowardly because now he has built in excuses for losing and not winning more championships instead of taking responsibility.

And quite honestly I believe Miami will win another championship before Cleveland does.

Big time too - Love is injury prone. Many people have forgotten that he missed an entire year before last season. In a couple of years Wiggins will be coming into his own and Love will be starting to decline.

Love > Bosh

That means nothing because 2010 Wade was a top 5 player and a superstar. Kyrie is not even a top 5 PG and in most unbiased fans opinions Kyrie isn't a top 30 player.

Love and Bosh (pre-Lebron) is way closer than 2010 D-Wade & 2014 Kyrie

Mecca I think it will happen in year 2, and they will off and on two more times. 3 titles over next 6 years. I also believe Love is a better player than Bosh, and Varejo remains under rated

I'm not so sure that Love is better than Bosh. Bosh has been to the finals four years straight to Love's nothing. I think experience counts for a lot. I think Love has a long ways to go before he will be able to match Bosh

My bad - I didn't realize Love was actually younger than Bosh, but playing with Kevin Garnet and not being the main guy in the team, Love's numbers will drop, so it's going to be hard to see how much Irving, Love and Lebron can create and weather it will be better than what LJ had in Miami.

Looks like King James has all the right pieces in place in Cleveland to make another Finals run. He will likely get to play the 3 spot and teams can't defend that.

Cleveland should be the favorites in pre-season prop bets.

I have to admit after looking at the stats - Irving-Love-Lebron is a nice big three on paper - we jus have to see what Cleveland puts together with them from 1 to 12.
