I'm not claiming the Patriots will go unpunished at all but I do think Brady represents the NFL more than most.

From what I read it was a signed game jersey, a couple of footballs, and maybe some shoes. The other part of this is while maybe BB and Kraft didn't know about this the guys doing this were employees of the Patriots. it is just like if say some broker gets caught doing something fraudulent they can punish the entire company not just that one employee. Going to be interesting what the punishment will be. I'm sure some will think it is a fitting punishment while there will be plenty on both sides of it saying the whole thing is unfair.

So according to Brady after the officials checked the balls, two part time Patriot employees took it upon themselves to let air out of the balls without his knowledge.

You may be taking what I said a tad wrong. The Rodgers comparison shows us others do this but Rodgers didn't stonewall an investigation and lie. I think there will be consequences. Probably fines doubled from the spygate thing, probably 2 games for Brady which in a 16 game season is significant and probably lost picks.

Actually, Barry Bonds batted against pitchers who were on PED's. Bonds belongs in the Hall of Fame. Back to Brady; If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'. It is the officials job to address the cheating during the course of the game. If the officials (or the other team) knew about it or suspected it, they have a moral obligation to address it immediately.
