It is the officials job to address the cheating during the course of the game. If the officials (or the other team) knew about it or suspected it, they have a moral obligation to address it immediately.

Balls got deflated, Brady knew. The post game measurements suggest that the Patriots used balls officials inflated more than the Colts who got trounced throughout the second half. That means that deflated or not, same outcome.

Too bad....really stupid of the Pats.

It is stupid beyond description. Will really put a dent in Brady's golden boy image. If he knew and lied, tch, tch, that is a huge story.

Personally I don't think the big deal will be the deflated balls. Lying and stonewalling might be what causes the issue. The league lets the teams have the balls and makes no secret they want offense. They were practically begging them to do something like this. I would have respected the Pats much more if they said "Everyone does it, they didn't reinflate them after we gave them to them so what's the big deal? Had someone mentioned something we would have stopped".
