Testing agency turns out to be a hired gun company.

Davismike,

It's exactly what the report found, why would you call it bullshit? :pound:

Ball 1 - 12.70
Ball 2 - 12.75
Ball 3 - 12.50
Ball 4 - 12.55

These are the readings from the first official. None under the 12.50 limit. Of course you will have a lower reading the second time you test the balls as some air pressure escapes.

The point is they found the balls underinflated, then immediately stopped testing them and allowed them to play withe underinflated balls. Why not test all of them?

Oh and by the way its a logic fail on your part. So exaplain then how one of them inflated itself by inserting a guage the second time.:pound:

Your logic fail is exposed and you go with that?:pound:

Well if we are going by Patriot logic of why the balls were underinflated then by them taking the balls back into the heated room that the air inside would have expanded once again causing them to inflate. Honestly there are a hundred reasons why one of them could have ended up with more air the 2nd time compared to the others. Kind of like you can take your temperature 10 times and get a different answer 5 times. It just depends on many factors.

I don't disagree.

The point of all this is that the report hasn't been out 24 hours and it's already crumbling. Looking for the source now about an article that has just come out pointing out how the Well's report has intentionally left out large portions of their investigation that are beneficial to the Patriots and Brady.

Report is starting to look like they came to a conclusion then went looking for the facts to support their conclusion. (Investigation fail 101)

The report has also used the old legal tactic of hiding information that isn't beneficial to it's position in footnotes.

Statement from Tom Brady's agent, Don Yee: "The Wells report, with all due respect, is a significant and terrible disappointment. It’s omission of key facts and lines of inquiry suggest the investigators reached a conclusion first, and then determined so-called facts later. One fact alone taints this entire report. What does it say about the league office’s protocols and ethics when it allows one team to tip it off to an issue prior to a championship game, and no league officials or game officials notified the Patriots of the same issue prior to the game? This suggests it may be more probable than not that the league cooperated with the Colts in perpetrating a sting operation. The Wells report buries this issue in a footnote on page 46 without any further elaboration. The league is a significant client of the investigators' law firm; it appears to be a rich source of billings and media exposure based on content in the law firm's website. This was not an independent investigation and the contents of the report bear that out – all one has to do is read closely and critically, as opposed to simply reading headlines. The investigators' assumptions and inferences are easily debunked or subject to multiple interpretations. Much of the report’s vulnerabilities are buried in the footnotes, which is a common legal writing tactic. It is a sad day for the league as it has abdicated the resolution of football-specific issues to people who don’t understand the context or culture of the sport. I was physically present for my client’s interview. I have verbatim notes of the interview. Tom made himself available for nearly an entire day and patiently answered every question. It was clear to me the investigators had limited understanding of professional football. For reasons unknown, the Wells report omitted nearly all of Tom’s testimony, most of which was critical because it would have provided this report with the context that it lacks. Mr. Wells promised back in January to share the results of this investigation publicly, so why not follow through and make public all of the information gathered and let the public draw its own conclusions? This report contains significant and tragic flaws, and it is common knowledge in the legal industry that reports like this generally are written for the benefit of the purchaser."

Actually the report is being completely dismantled and showing it's nothing more than an hit piece. And it hasn't even been 24 hours.:pound:

Maybe you should try actually reading the report.
